Vaccine for prevention of rabies
The Sarawak state veterinary department recently carried out vaccination for the prevention of Rabies at Kpg Semaba. The locals were seen bringing in their pets to the Dewan Masyarakat of Kpg Semaba and the vaccine was allegedly used up by 1.30 pm.
SUPP leaders went to the ground to understand the situation.
The Sarawak veterinary department prepared around 700 vaccines – however it is insufficient as people from Bandar Kuching and Bau all rush to vaccinate their pets
Following a little fact finding, Political Secretary Tan Kai and Cr Wilfred Yap visited the Dr Adrian, the Director of State Veterinary department, who agreed to further provide door to door service to those who miss the vaccine injection today.
Meanwhile, the department will also carry out the vaccination at the 7th Mile Basketball court on 24/7/2017 at 10am – 12.30 pm and 2pm – 4pm.
SUPP will continue to mobilize its Sentosa branch committee to help in coordination with the venue, traffic control, registration and work closely with Sarawak Veterinary Department.
