Taking action against abandoned vehicles
SUPP Public Complaints Bureau (PCB) was recently approached by the business owners at Taman Desa Paul, 6th Mile, Penrissen Road, Kuching who complained to him of three abandoned motor vehicles.
The three abandoned vehicles was causing a nuisance by taking up valuable parking spaces meant for customers and preventing the road contractor recently awarded the tar sealing improvement works by Padawan Municipal Council to completely tar seal the road in front of the shophouses resulting in an uneven road condition.
SUPP PCB Chief, Wilfred Yap went to inspect and assess the situation together with enforcement officers of Padawan Municipal Council.
Wilfred Yap would like to thank the enforcement officers from Padawan Municipal Council for issuing removal notices to the owners of the abandoned vehicles. In the event the abandoned vehicles are not removed within the stipulated time, the enforcement officers will remove them, with the cost of removal to be borne by the vehicle owners.
