Blood Donation and Heart screening at Emart Shopping Mall, Batu Kawa
Sarawak Local government minister, Senator Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian did his part donating his blood yesterday.
The Blood Donation was organised by BatuKawaCyclingClub & Heart screening , SarawakHeartFoundation & PusatJantungSarawak at the Emart Shopping Mall, Batu Kawa
He said the SGH needs 22,000 pints (most donor donated 1-2 pint per year) of blood per year. We need healthy volunteers to donate blood so that we can help those who need it during operation or those who are born with blood disorders.
Dr Sim added that the blood donated must be used within 120 days but blood is produced daily by our body.
