RM2.5 million allocated for several projects in the MPP area this year.
Batu Kitang State Assemblyman, Lo Khere Chiang said RM400,000 has been allocated under the Rural Transformation programme to build a 2 kilometer stretch of drainage system along jalan Puncak Borneo expected to start next year.
Lo who went with the MPP staff to the site yesterday said this will solve part of the flooding which affected over 100 houses in the area.
He said the government had allocated RM2.5 million to implement several projects in the MPP area this year.
Thanking the Chief Minister for making this a reality, Lo said they also need to widen the road along Mile 10 bazzar to Kampung Landeh.
That would cost around RM300,000 to widen several lanes in the kampung, he added.
