Dato Sebastian: value the harmony despite different ethnic groups

Officiating at Miri Special Affairs Department (Jasa) pre-Christmas event organised in collaboration with Saberkas Pujut Branch at Saberkas Commercial Centre yesterday, Ting said such uniqueness should not be taken for granted and urged the people to further promote peace and goodwill.
“Miri is a home for some 28 ethnic groups with different cultural backgrounds. Thus we should, at all cost, safeguard the existing racial unity and harmony from being jeopardised by negative elements,” he added.
