Dr Sim: Football can promote sportsmanship among youth
Local Minister, Senator Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian said he is glad to see that the SUPP youth has organised a football competition, the first ever.
He said the football competition was jointly organised with Kelab Bola Sepak iHub and Kelab Sukan Rekreasi Jin Hua, Batu Kawa of which the objective is to promote sportmanship among the youth and to identity talented players.
Dr. Sim recollected that in the 70s and 80s, the Malaysian football team was very strong and very multi racial group.
He said this need to continue to foster better relationship among the younger generation too.
