The Mooncake Festival Bazaar the old Batu Kawah town
Ninety nine stalls were set up at the Old Batu Kawah town which started on Friday and will end on Sept 18.
Officiating the occassion, Local Government Minister, Senator Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian said the Mooncake Festival Bazaar at the old Batu Kawah town is a celebration of racial harmony.
He said in Sarawak, all are free to celebrate their festivals in harmony and peace and this must be continued to thrive and sustain for the future generations.
Dr. Sim pointed out that during such festivity, the younger generation will also have a chance to earn some extra income.
