Government should engage shopkeepers, retailers of new laws,regulations
State Assemblyman for Piasau, Dato’ Sebastian Ting called on the government to engage and inform shopkeepers and retailers of new laws or regulations on prohibition of sales of certain goods before enforcing them. 陈超耀：政府应与商家积极沟通
砂拉越人民联合党中央秘书长拿督陈超耀律师认为，在执法单位展开执法行动之前，政府应该与商家与零售商沟通，向他们解释新条例。 “任何条例都是为了人民的利益而定的，而不是造成混乱，所有在执行条例时，应该保持谨慎和敏感的。” 他是针对近期闹得沸沸扬扬的猪毛漆刷课题，发表立场。 贸消局近期在全国五金店展开行动，检查店内销售的漆刷材质。 根据2013年贸消局商品事务通令（由猪或狗部份制成的产品）第4（1）条文，并可在第29（2）项条文下被对付，商家若没有为非清真商品标记或作出区分，已构成触犯法令。 个人初犯一旦罪成，可被判罚款不超过10万令吉、监禁不超过3年或两者兼施；二次和以上的重犯，罚款不超过25万令吉、监禁不超过5年或两者兼施的严惩。机构（Perbadanan）则可被判罚款不超过20万令吉、重犯罚款不超过50万令吉。 也是卑尔骚区州议员的陈超耀说，政府在推出任何新条例前，应该通过宣传，向商家详细说明。
