德教会紫霞阁2015中秋园游会
砂拉越人民联合党主席拿督沈桂贤上议员于昨晚出席砂拉越德教会紫霞阁举办的中秋园游会。 他表示，德教会的历史已经超过100年，在世界各地拥有百多个分会。过去以来，一直都积极参与社会福利工作，是维护社会和谐的象征。 他说，紫霞阁在阁长拿督郑正金的领导下，已成为古晋区规模最大及最活跃的德教会组织之一。
Chawan’s Association
The Chawan’s Association celebrate its 18th Youth section Anniversary on Saturday night at the Chung Hua No 3 hall. SUPP President, Senator Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian said the Association has gone beyond traditional good Chawan foods but has continue the legacy of the Association commitment to the community welfare, Chinese education, preservation of the culture and much more. “With the 80th anniversary of the Association next year, I am very reassured that we are in good hands for many more years to come.”
Sarawak Chinese Medicine association
The Sarawak Chinese Medicine association celebrated its 50th Anniversary dinner recently. Chinese Medicine has been practiced for more than 2,000 years. With the accreditation and professional registration of the practitioners in Malaysia, there is tremendous potential development for this branch of medicine into the contemporary medical practice in Sarawak. The other great potential for Sarawak is the Chinese Herbal Agriculture Plantation and related eco system. Invited to the dinner was President of SUPP, Senator Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian.
砂诏安会馆青年团晚宴

砂人联党主席拿督沈桂贤上议员于昨晚出席砂拉越中医药协会创立50周年纪念晚宴。 他在致词时指出，中医药的历史已经有超过2000年，而在我国，中医药通过先进与专业的技术辅助下，前景一片大好。 尤其是在砂州方面，他认为，草药农业与相关领域，是极有发展潜能的。

全马最长灯笼游行
由砂拉越人民联合党朋岭支部妇女组、诏安路乡村安全及发展委员会和特别事务局（JASA）联办的“情牵中秋”提灯笼游行于昨晚成功在肯雅兰举行，吸引约千人参与，并以全场2.6公里的游行队伍，创下大马新纪录！ 提灯笼游行队伍是从晚上8时10分开始，在主宾砂福利、妇女及家庭发展部长拿督法蒂玛陈赛明主持点灯仪式下，开始游行，从出发地点肯雅兰戏院，沿途经过新欣购物广场、丹斯理阿玛沈庆鸿路、张君光路及肯雅兰小贩中心，最后返回肯雅兰戏院。 这项“情牵中秋”提灯笼游行活动的宗旨，是希望借着提灯笼游行活动让各族人民和华族一起庆祝和体验中秋佳节的欢乐气氛，增进各族间的互动与了解，建造一个团结友爱的社会。 另一方面，砂人联党主席拿督沈桂贤上议员也在游行结束后，颁发证书予参与的游行队伍们。
陈超耀：人民希望看到一马公司课题尽快解决

配合2015世界心脏日，砂心脏基金会联同砂中央医院心脏中心、砂能源有限公司及Medtronic国际有限公司，于日前假砂心脏中心2楼会议室推展“生命电源”计划，以向本州各省医院推广心电图仪器用途。 同时，砂能源有限公司将于本月5日至8日连续三天提供2辆电动轿车予砂中央心脏中心的医务人员进行推广该项计划，路线包括西连、实文然、斯里阿曼、木中、沙拉督、泗里街及加拿逸等市镇医院，以提倡减少环境污染的概念。 砂中央医院心脏中心心脏病高级顾问拿督沈桂贤表示，该项计划主要目的是向州内各个省份医院推广心电图仪器，以方便医生更加正确诊断病患的心脏病起因。 他继说，心电图是被公认为检测患者心脏疾病最明确的仪器之一，通过心电图的测试，医生才能更仔细分析病患的情况。他进一步指出，此次推展也提供培训课程给医务人员，让他们更加熟悉心电图仪器的操作，从而识别早期心脏疾病，让病患提早获得更有效的治疗。

砂人联党主席拿督沈桂贤上议员于昨日受邀主持民达华团体联谊会颁发第一届学子学优奖励金仪式，该仪式是于民达华天后宫礼堂举行。 他在致词时强调，投资子女的教育绝对不会错。 “在大马砂州的我们很幸运，即便没有钱还是可以上学。如果没钱但有本事，也还可以申请奖学金。因为在很多国家，许多孩子要读书都没机会。” 他形容，砂州人不只是要成为人才，而是世界性人才，到了那时候，机会往往就会找上门，许多外国人就会远飞上门来挖角自己。在这个21世纪，不只是靠努力而已，而是要靠知识。将来的世界是靠知识经济来赚钱。 他也赞扬民达华团体联谊会联合15个团体一起进行福利工作，照顾会员，这是值得赞赏。而且大家团结在一起，就是一种力量。
