A total sum of RM545,000 for the Rural Transformation Projects (RTP) was approved by the Sarawak Chief Minister, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Haji Adenan Satem, for N10 Pending constituency’s upgrading works. The funding was earlier compiled and submitted to the Chief Minister through SUPP President, Senator Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian on August 2015. 砂拉越人民联合党要重申砂拉越华人不是‘外来者’。 砂拉越土生土长华人是参与砂拉越发展重要的一份子。 砂拉越人民联合党主席拿督沈桂贤医生上议员深感遗憾国家干训局总监拿督拉惹阿里菲公开号称华裔为“外来者”。 其令人震惊的是作为政府单位的负责人，拉惹阿里菲可以罔顾华人对国家建设与贡献而发表如此愚昧及分裂性的言论。令人匪夷所思如马来西亚这般文明的国家却会有这种思想狭隘的高层政府官员。 在全民团结的精神下，我们的首席部长，拿督巴丁宜丹斯里阿德南已多次呼吁各方不要称砂拉越的华人为‘外来者’。甚至我们的首相拿督斯里纳吉最近也宣布 ‘你们不是外来者。你们是马来西亚的子民’。 国家干训局应该注重在建立一个更加和谐，更加进步的马来西亚，而不是挑拨离间种族的差异。 人联党坚信砂州华人是砂劳越重要的一份子， 也是本州以及国家建设的主力军之一。因此，号称华人外来者是荒谬和错误的。
登记捐献器官活动
一项由捐献器官活动于日前在美里举行，并获得本州社会发展部助理部长兼砂人联党史纳汀区州议员拿督李景胜主持推展礼。出席者包括砂人联党中央秘书长拿督陈超耀律师及宣教秘书俞小珊。 这项活动是由捐献器官组织与红新月会一起配合举办，并在全国75个地方举行。

砂人联党中央秘书长拿督陈超耀律师于今日出席美里史纳汀小学的开放日。 据该校校长维尔弗及家教协会主席亨利朱加表示，该活动是配合学校创校10周年而举行。 除了举行开放日之外，该校也举办竞跑活动，为学校筹募活动经费。 陈超耀恭贺该校全体配合，让所有活动皆圆满成功举行。
李景胜全力支持首长承认统考文凭
砂人联党史纳汀区州议员兼体育与通讯部助理部长拿督李景胜全力支持首长阿迪南沙登吁请联邦中央政府承认独中统考文凭。 他说，许多国家都承认统考文凭，甚至为独中生提供奖学金， 不过我国却无法承认独中的文凭，这也造成我国人才外流，完成学业的学生都宁愿在外国发展。 李景胜说， 各先进国家如英国、美国、澳洲、加拿大、日本、法国、新加坡、中国、德国、意大利、俄罗斯及其他国家都予承认。在我国，许多外国的分校也同样承认独中文凭，如蒙纳斯、科廷、诺丁汉、斯威本及各私人学院等。 他表示，我国国立大学都承认来自外国学校的文凭，让外国学生到这里来深造，为何却不承认在我国完成学业的独中生？他认为砂大应走先锋 ，吸纳独中生。 他称，联邦政府不承认独中文凭，也导致这些学生无法民事服务为人民效劳，也使他们的父母感到失望。他强调，独中生同样有学习马来文科，独中生甚至也报考大马教育文凭国文科目。 他指出，很明显的，独中文凭是符合国际水准的，不然也不会有这么多的外国大学承认其文凭 ，因此他吁请联邦政府承认统考文凭 ，让学生可以在公共服务领域作出贡献。 他说，砂首席部长是一位开明的首长，从他上任迄今，已争取了45项的成就，其中对华社的贡献就3项，即首长表明华裔不是外来者、常年拨款给独中也包括华小，承认独中文凭。 “首长只上任20个月，已对砂州人民作出这么多的贡献，他希望选民在来届州选继续给予他全力的支持，让他继续为人民争取的利益和改革。”

The SUPP Public Complaints Bureau was recently approached by the shop owners of 3rd Mile Bazaar, Kuching who complained of the uneven road condition in the area of their business premises.
