President of SUPP, Senator Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian congratulated the Chinese Physician Association which organised Chinese Herbs Exhibition & Seminar (Free traditional treatment) at the Chinese Chung Hua Middle School no 1 on 7/11/2015
He said Chinese medicine has thousands of years history and in keeping up with western medicine methodology, it can truly revolutionize medical treatment when both traditional and western medicine when combined.
In Sarawak General Hospital, traditional complimentary medicine has set up acupuncture unit sometimes.
Sarawak, he added, has huge potential to be large scale herbal plantation. It can be part of the silk road program adding to the USD160 billion bilateral trade between Malaysia-China every year.
