首长返回古晋圣约瑟中学母校
首席部长拿督巴丁宜丹斯里阿迪南沙登于昨日前往古晋圣约瑟中学，在已故前任校长科伦巴悼念纪念簿上签名。 在场包括人联党主席兼古晋圣约瑟中学校友会主席拿督沈桂贤上议员。 首长随后还与沈桂贤一起参观母校。 科伦巴于前日傍晚7时30分在其家乡爱尔兰与世长辞，享年80岁。 他出生于1935年，在他22岁即1957年抵达砂拉越，并在诗巫神圣学校执教，一直到1962年返回爱尔兰继续升学。 在诗巫执教期间，他也是一名活跃的足球员，并在1960年代初参与砂拉越杯比赛。 科伦巴在1966年返回砂拉越，并在古晋圣约瑟中学执教，执教科目包括了经济、地理及普通科目，同时他也是一位曲棍球运动员，并在执教期间在校内推广曲棍球运动。而他在1970年从已故校长阿尔比努斯接过校长的职位，一直到1987年退休。 为了纪念科伦巴，圣约瑟中学将把悼念纪念簿开放一直到这个月杪，让所有受过已故科伦巴校长教导之恩的学生能前来写下寄语。同时，该校也会在2月13日上午9时30分，于该校礼堂举行对已故科伦巴校长追思会。
首长为一小新校舍开幕
耗资530万令吉的古晋中华小学第一校新校舍，于4日由首席部长拿督巴丁宜丹斯里阿迪南沙登主持开幕。 一小新校舍是于2011年开始策划与筹款，在2012年初动工，并于2014年建竣。 出席开幕礼的党领袖包括人联党主席拿督沈桂贤上议员、中央妇女组主席拿汀徐美丽、公共投诉局主任叶耀星、人联青宣教秘书符祥威律师、朋岭支部署理主席田招炎等。 阿迪南在仪式上宣布拨款50万令吉予一小。

程明智炮轰公正党领袖藐视砂主权
人联党柏拉旺支部秘书兼推荐候选人程明智就公正党妇女组主席兼安邦区国会议员祖莱达遭禁足砂州后发表 “若掌政必改移民法”的言论，炮轰对方是狂妄和荒谬的错误，同时也是藐视砂拉越主权及联邦宪法。 他指责，祖莱达的言论，首先藐视砂拉越主权；移民主权是砂参组马来西亚最重要的条件之一，这项主权在联邦宪法第161(E)(4)中清楚列明和受保护。在马来西亚移民法令第66条文中规定:任何马来西亚公民在没有得到砂沙移民局准许（Permit）的前提下不得入境，该条文说明这是法令赋予砂沙的特别法律。 程明智是于今天发表文告时指出，祖莱达声称掌权后要剥夺砂移民自主权，这透露出她狂妄藐视先贤立国根基。 他进一步说，祖莱达的言论，同时也藐视联邦宪法，联邦宪法是国家最高法律，宪法第161(E)(2)清楚列明，若是国会要修改砂沙移民自主权，首先必须得到砂沙州元首同意，而州元首必须要听取州内阁的劝诫。 即使公正党未来真的掌权执政联邦政府，没有州元首和州内阁的同意，也无法单单依靠国会多数票，想要剥夺砂沙移民自主权就剥夺! 程明智说，身为国会议员祖莱达竟然不尊重马来西亚立国根基，不清楚国家宪法，更不了解修宪程序，试问如何能在国会里充当人民喉舌? “不尊重国家宪法，又如何谈建立民主公正社会呢?” 他个人也建议国会应该强制要求所有国会议员，都必须上课熟读联邦宪法，以便所有国会议员，不论是国阵或是反对党都能更加了解砂拉越和沙巴在国家宪法保障下的各种自主权。 他强调，通过上述举措，可望未来减少西马国会议员对砂沙自主权再提出质疑和桃战。

SUPP held its central working committee today at the party headquarters to discuss on preparation for the coming State election. Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak was in Sarawak to start his two day working visit. Yesterday, he attended a dinner with all the state BN leaders at the new State legislative Assembly (DUN) complex. Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Adenan Satem, his deputy Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Alfred Jabu Numpang were there to welcome him. Also present were SUPP president Senator Datuk Prof Sim Kui Hian, PRS president Tan Sri Datuk Amar Dr James Jemut Masing, while SPDP was represented by its secretary-general Datuk Anthony Nogeh.
