邓文武探访贫苦家庭
首长政治秘书邓文武于日前前往泗里街沐鲁冬区进行福利探访，对象是一对没有稳定工作的贫苦夫妻。 陈姓丈夫没有工作，而其妻子患病，令情况雪上加霜。而且，他们还有3名孩子仍在求学。 他们一家人居住在环境欠佳的木屋，该屋子摇摇欲坠。邓文武设法为他们申请福利援助，以及亲善房屋计划。 与此同时，在泗里街街区，邓文武还主持一项分发国旗和州旗仪式，给予来往的车辆，这是迎合来临的国庆日而举行。

美里成为首个启动安全智能系统城市
砂人联党卑尔骚区州议员拿督陈超耀律师披露，引进“物联网（Internet of Things）”让全民参与监督，美里将成为全国首个启动“安全与智能系统（safe & Smart System）”的城市。 他表示，一旦“物联网（IoT）”在卑尔骚选区和埔奕选区启动，美里市民只要下载软件并向物联网监管单位注册，就可免费通过智能手机查看连接闭路电视的即时视频。 陈超耀是在市长俞小珊，人联党卑尔骚支部秘书卡兰比星，和“安全与智能系统（safe & Smart System）”计划协调员陈庆典陪同下召开新闻发布会时，这么表示。 他指出，“物联网（IoT）”是与现有的政府及私人企业闭路电视衔接，让下载了软件和注册的市民可以透过衔接的闭路电视收看即时视频，清楚的看到现场情况。 “最初阶段我们锁定了在卑尔骚选区和埔奕选区内的6个黑区，和这些地区现有的闭路电视连接并在没有闭路电视处装置闭路电视。整个系统需要一个月的时间来安装与准备。” 他说，“安全与智能系统（SSS）”是通过“物联网”来运作；人们只要下载了软件和向监管单位注册后，就可以通过智能手机来查看所有已经连线的闭路电视即时视频；此系统除了可协助警方监督违法事件之外，也可以查看一些官方部门的情况。 “我们也会和城市转型中心（UTC）的多个政府部门闭路电视连线，让市民看到这些部门的服务柜台处情况；比如，市民可以通过智能手机查看登记局柜台处的情况，来决定是否要前往该部门办理申请或更新身份证手续。”

砂拉越人民联合党推动的施医赠药活动，获得民众热烈响应和参与，每周四都有大批民众前往人联党总部求医。 人联党主席拿督沈桂贤数个月前发觉，随着民众生活越来越富裕，生活中也出现许多文明病，因此需要提高民众的疾病预防和治疗努力和工作，因此便与多名中医师携手，推广这项免费为民众义诊服务。 义诊活动是每个星期四早上9时至11时到人联党总部会议室B举行，有多名经验丰富的中医师为民众义诊。 人联党欢迎有任何病痛或疑问的民众，都可以在上述时间前往人联党总部，以寻求中医师的协助，人联党高度赞扬和感谢这些风雨无阻，定时义务为民众提供医疗服务的中医师。
Visit to Sarikei Customs
Teng Ung Woo, Political secretary to the Chief Minister, paid a visit to the Assistant Director of Customs Sarikei on Friday. Teng said the visit was to understand the procedure of the Imports and Exports rules and other services provided as he had been receiving queries from the members of the public on these issues. Later in the afternoon, Teng went to Rumah Jerome to assist an unemployed cancer patient to apply for welfare assistance. Also with him were councillors, Kapitans and community leaders.

Dialogue with the Mile 10 Area Association

Problems of blocked drains at RPR Stampin Resettlement Scheme
SUPP Public Complaints Bureau (SPCB) Chief, Wilfred Yap was recently approached by residents living at RPR Stampin Resettlement Scheme located at Lorong 12, Jalan Stampin Baru who requested for his assistance on blocked drains due to overgrown weeds.
