前任党主席黄顺开逝世
前砂副首长兼砂人联党主席丹斯里黄顺开今日凌晨约4时逝世，享年90岁。 祖籍闽清县，1927年出生在马来西亚砂拉越诗巫，黄顺开荣获马来西亚元首授予的“丹斯里拿督阿玛”称号。他出身平凡，但无论是在医学专业上还是在政治领域中，都为居住地的国家与人民做出了杰出的贡献。 黄顺开自幼读书，在诗巫完成华文初中教育后，便前往新加坡研读华文高中。1953年毕业于马来西亚大学医学系，1958年至1959年赴英国专修外科专业。 在英国学成归来后，黄顺开先在诗巫医院外科专家，仁心仁术，全心投入。之后，他自办私人医院，在贤妻杨守勤医生协助下，平易近人的态度乃有口皆碑。 1974年，黄顺开参加砂拉越州议会选举，中选为诗巫外区立法议员，并受召人砂拉越州内阁，出任农业与社会发展部长。 之后，黄顺开先后担任交通与工程部长、工程与特别任务部长、基本设施发展与财政部长。1991年砂罗越州内阁改组后，他更受政府的器重，被推荐为砂拉越第一副首席部长兼掌管基本设施发展部及房屋部，一身三职。 在政府内担负要职的黄顺开，秉承先贤黄乃裳的拓荒精神，凭藉他富有创意的领导与远见，对砂州有“新福州”之称的诗巫做出了有目共睹的贡献。 另外，砂人联党主席拿督沈桂贤于今早8时30分，在脸书个人专页发文证实该党第三任主席丹斯里拿督阿玛黄顺开今早与世长辞。 他的发文中提及，黄顺开是1927年2月10日出生。他也贴上多张与黄顺开的合照表达思念。 沈桂贤代表砂人联党全体同仁向黄顺开遗孀、子女和孙子表示慰问，对于黄顺开的离世感到悲痛。 他表示，已故的黄顺开同志由始至终都一直关心砂拉越和砂人联党的福利。 他指出，黄顺开是一名医学同事、一名卓越的绅士、一名导师、一名鼓舞人心的领袖，以及一生奉献给砂拉越的政治家。 “对于砂拉越和国家来说，我们今天有一个很大损失。愿他的灵魂安息主怀。”

公共投诉局接获公民权问题
日前一位民众向砂拉越人民联合党公共投诉局主任叶耀星要求协助有关其侄儿及侄女的公民权问题；皆因小孩已故父亲未与其外国籍母亲注册结婚。 砂拉越人民联合党公共投诉局已处理无数类似案件并也非常担忧这些无国籍小孩的前景与未来。父母亲对注册程序的忽略与懵懂严重的影响他们的下一代，小孩是无辜的。 砂拉越人民联合党公共投诉局主任叶耀星希望朝野国会议员可以抛开政治立场通过修筑立法来解决无国籍小孩的问题，包挂是否可以考虑给那些与外国籍女子结婚，但未能在法定时间内注册的大马籍男子他们所生下的孩子公民权。 从投诉局所处理的案例中发现，许多无国籍小孩与我国其他小孩根本无异，他们也早已认定马来西亚就是他们的家。砂拉越人民联合党公共投诉局呼吁政府，在推行或落实任何政策时，应该以孩子的利益为依归或优先考量。 人联公共投诉局强调投诉局不是批准单位而是协助民众办理申请及确保申请所需的所有必要信息。（联邦宪法第15条款或15A条款） 人联公共投诉局已做好准备并尝试通过相关部门解决影响社区的公共议题。人联党公共投诉局已准备好为面对相关问题却不懂得如何处理的民众伸出援手。任何相关事宜可联系人联党公共投诉（016-7797688或082246999）或亲临人联党总部。
人联党坚决反对355修正法案
砂拉越人民联合党表明坚决反对任何一方所提呈的355修正法案，因为这两套法律制度已抵触联邦宪法及1963年建国契约。 党主席拿督沈桂贤重申人联党立场，即从始至终不变、坚决反对该修正法案。因为它抵触联邦宪法第18及121条文，也违反1963年成立大马的原本意愿及精神。 因此、他提醒任何一方包括伊党及巫统，不要执意破坏1963大马协意，更不要摧毁马来西亚54年独立以来的和平与稳定。 最后沈桂贤促请砂拉越国阵团结一致，坚持反对355修正法案，共同捍卫联邦宪法。

Site visit to Bau/Batu Kitang Road
Lo Khere Chiang, State Assemblyman for Batu Kitang paid a working visit to Bau/Batu Kitang Road yesterday afternoon to check on the progress of the road after the laying of water pipes. He said the project which is under Rural Water Supply Department (JBALB), provided stringent supervision over the work to ensure they cause minimal inconvenience to the public, especially the road users. The projects will be fully completed by Nov 2017. Lo also called to the drivers not to speed along the area and bear with the situation.
沈桂贤访问亚庇伊丽莎白女皇医院二院

罗克强移交手提电脑
砂人联党巴都吉当区州议员罗克强于日前移交手提电脑予土保党巴都吉当区部妇女组。 这项移交仪式是在巴达旺市议会举行，目前是让女性可以有机会掌握电子科技知识，包括让她们可是进行网络学习，以及进行网上生意。共有16个分部的代表获得手提电脑。 除了手提电脑之外，还有印刷机设施。 罗克强希望受惠者可以善用这些设施，掌握迎合时代的生活技能。

首长政治秘书邓文武于日前拜访泗里街双溪柏带一个穷苦人士的住家。 该家庭生活在极为贫苦的环境，目前有一名孩子还在小学求学，而家里没有水供和电流供应设施。 邓文武关心该家庭的处境，将设法帮助他们。
Teng doing his best to help the unfortunate
Teng Ung Woo, political secretary to the chief minister, went to check on a house at Sg. Petai, Sarikei yesterday. He found out that the family is living in very poor condition and of the two children, one is a drop out. The other child is in primary school. The hut where they are staying does not have treated water or electricity. Teng said he would see how best he could help them.
BR1M vouchers for recipients without bank account
Senator datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian presented 1Malaysia People’s Aid (BR1M) vouchers to eligible recipients who do not have bank accounts. He encourage the receiptents to start an account so they do not have to queue up as the money will be banked in directly.
人联党总部分发一马援助金仪式
古晋5个州选区，即浮罗岸、朋岭、巴都林当、哥打圣淘沙及石角州选区逾两千名一马援助金受惠者在砂人联党总部领取援助金。 5个州选区的一马援助金总受惠者人数是2675人，浮罗岸州选区232人、朋岭州选区757人、巴都林当527人、哥打圣淘沙州选区135人及石角州选区1024人。 这项援助金分发仪式是在砂人联党总部礼堂进行，时间是上午9时至下午4时期间进行。 砂人联党主席拿督沈桂贤指出，前来该党总部领取一马援助金的民众是因没有银行户口，其他符合条件的受惠者已汇入银行，而所领取的援助金数额不同。 他表示，我国政府分发一马援助金予合格人士，主要是要减轻低收入家庭生活负担。因此，他也提醒受惠者，善用所获取的一马援助金，用在有意义的用途上，如粮食方面等。 他呼吁未获得一马援助金的通知信的申请者，可在下月3日后到内陆税收局或城市转型中心做出上诉或询问。
Distribution of cheques to 50 farmers affected by flood
Batu kitang stste asemblyman, Lo Khere chiang distributed cheques (each Rm 1,000) to 50 farmers affected by the flood in 2015. He also updated the kampong residents on Bumbok’s Rm250,000 road and drainage improvements using the 2016 RTP funds and another Rm 500,000 of 2017 RTP funds on the upgrade of Bumbok Hawker Center. The JKR is also in the process of extending the road in front of Bumbok Hawker Center.
