砂人联党卑尔骚支部主席陈超耀赞扬美里全科诊所的伸缩性运作方式，提供复诊病人更实际的服务。 他日前巡视该诊所，于凌晨5点之前就来到现场，当时下着雨。当抵达时，他发现篱笆们已经打开，守卫告知，因为下雨，他们提早打开篱笆们。 也是卑尔骚州议员的陈超耀说，服务机构应该人性化处理问题，提供人民更好、更具体的服务。 由于美里全科诊所上个月5日起取消号码牌制度，导致复诊病人必须站着排队超过2个钟头，引起民众不满；但在拿督陈超耀协调下，该诊所在还没有拟定新的替代方案前继续沿用过去的号码牌制度。 这段期间，陈超耀经常在清晨时前往全科诊所了解情况，并聆听民众的意见，并向当局提出更好的建议。
沈桂贤希望大选后联邦政府主动找砂政府协商
砂地方政府与房屋部长拿督沈桂贤希望在509国选后，联邦政府将主动来砂拉越寻求协商，而不是砂拉越过去找联邦政府。 也是砂人联党主席的拿督沈桂贤强调，现在是进入砂国阵新时代，与国阵不同，也与反对党不一样。砂拉越人要靠自己让砂拉越强大。 他出席砂听力及康复协会、砂耳鼻喉专科协会及砂中央医院听力专科部门联办，HearLIFE Hearing Care Centre、婆罗洲医药中心、Vivacity购物广场协办的免费听力、耳鼻喉与健康检查及讲座上致词时，如是披露。 他指出，砂拉越参组大马50多年，某位首相当权的20多年，联邦政府从砂拉越获取的钱不少，但仅给予砂拉越5%的石油与天然气开采税，让砂拉越的发展有心无力。 他表示，砂国阵将持续争取，且相信西马无论是基建设施如高速公路、地铁、金融中心等发展已很完善，砂拉越无须再与后者共享砂拉越资源。砂拉越的资源是时候回归到砂拉越的发展了。 沈桂贤能感激已故前首长阿迪南沙登在位时不畏西马政治权贵，推动砂拉越索权斗争，让砂拉越的自主权意识抬头。阿迪南亦成功将722砂拉越独立日入宪，这在教育部的历史教科书是没有的。 他认为，这次的国选是一个机会，砂拉越子民必须让砂国阵在今届国选强大起来，以便砂国阵能利用今次大选辉煌的战绩为政治筹码，将教育、医药及其它被联邦政府侵蚀的自主权重新拿回来。 他感慨表示，若阿迪南没有担任首长，现在或还在人世，后者因太爱砂拉越才早逝，牺牲极大，因此，砂国阵必须完成阿迪南的遗志，让后者在天之灵得以安息。 较早，拿督沈桂贤形容，那些只会责怪政府做得不好、医院设施差劲之人士是没有诚意的，若他们有诚意，他们大可以为政府医院及人民做出许多改变。 他说，虽政府医疗受到指指点点，仍令之欣慰的是，还有一群政府与私人医院的医生，除了工作，也志愿性地走出医院，为人民服务，就像今日活动主办方的代表与团体执委们。
许德婉：砂希盟新政多此一举
砂人联党中央妇女组主席许德婉认为希望联盟的《希盟与砂国阵新政协议》多此一举。 她表示，砂拉越的权利已经在《1963年马来西亚协议》及《政府间委员会报告》中获得肯定，砂拉越国阵政府为什么要与希望联盟签署《希盟与砂国阵新政协议》？ 她说，砂拉越在1963年与马来亚、北婆罗洲（沙巴）及新加坡参组马来西亚，在这期间，先贤拼尽全力去为砂拉越争取了特权和自主权，最终在国际协定—《1963年马来西亚协议》及《政府间委员会报告》的签定下，赋予了砂拉越特权和自主权。 “砂国阵也正致力于通过权力下放的商榷，为砂拉越争取在《1963年马来西亚协议》下被赋予权力的回归。希盟在这个节骨眼才来说要跟砂国阵签署所谓的《希盟与砂国阵新政协议》，我们必须对他们这些马来亚政党所提出的任何‘新协议’格外谨慎。” 许德婉发表文告表示，如果反对党真心要为砂拉越斗争，那就应该加入砂拉越本土政党，和砂拉越本土政党同一鼻孔出气，为砂拉越作出争取。 她说，马来亚政党根本不懂砂拉越人爱砂拉越的情操，我们怎么能指望他们去捍卫砂拉越人？ 她促请砂拉越人支持砂国阵，并与砂国阵合作建立一个更强大的砂拉越。因为，只有一个由砂拉越本土政党组成的联盟，才会真心并有能力去为砂拉越的利益作出斗争。
Collapsed walk way – students injured
Piasau State Assemblyman, Datuk Sebastian Ting together with SMK Dato Permaisuri Principal and the PIBG went to inspect a collapsed walk way which injured several students. A total of 11 students were sent to the hospital for check up after they fell off the walkway earlier. Two of them had injuries on their legs while the other nine have no major injury. Ting said the JKR and MCC will be sending their teams to come over to have another study on the structure.

沈桂贤：国阵议员才能捍卫砂权益
砂人联党主席拿督沈桂贤医生强调，惟有国阵的人民代议士才会真正在国会代表砂拉越发言，争取权益。他说，反对党的国会议员在国会无法发挥影响力，甚至还担心若为砂拉越争取权益，可能被西马的领袖撤换。 他今日主持人联青新标志推展礼时说，西马政治一直处于争论不休的状态，而砂拉越必须更强大，捍卫权益与地位。庆幸的是，已故前首长丕显斯里阿德南沙登生前告诉砂拉越人什么是真正的权益，否则砂拉越人至今还无法理解本身的地位。 “包括我本身，在已故阿德南沙登未公开争取权益之前，也对1963年马来西亚成立契约一知半解。现在，首席部长拿督巴丁宜阿邦佐哈里继续争取砂拉越权益，砂人民应该成为他的全力后盾。” 沈桂贤表示，人联党创党于1959年，是砂拉越历史最悠久的本土政党，在捍卫砂拉越权益方面从不松懈。 他说，阿邦佐哈里上任后致力争取砂拉越财务自主，包括成立砂拉越发展银行，收购巴贡水坝，兴建轻快铁及引领砂拉越朝向数码经济发展。不仅如此，其领导的政府还拨款给华校及教会。 他呼吁全民鼎力支持国阵及人联党，共同努力争取更多权益。
陈超耀视察学校外沟渠崩塌步行道
砂人联党卑尔骚区州议员拿督陈超耀律师今日前往视察美里Dato Permaisuri中学的沟渠步行道倒塌问题。 他在该校校长及家教协会代表的陪同下，了解该问题，并寻求解决方案。 该沟渠步行道日前突然崩塌，导致11名中学生被送往医院检查，而校方告知陈超耀，共有2名学生的腿部受伤，其他9名学生无大碍。 陈超耀表示，公共工程局及美里市议会将派员进一步了解该沟渠是否安全。

The Election Commission (EC) announced the 14th General Election (GE14) to be held on May 9, 2018. EC chairman Tan Sri Mohd Hashim Abdullah, who made the announcement, said nomination day will be held on April 28 while early voting will be on May 5 giving candidates 11 days to campaign. 第14届大选509投票
选举委员会主席丹斯里莫哈末哈欣宣布，第14届全国大选的提名日将落在4月28日，军警提早投票日为5月5日，而且投票日则落在5月9日。 选委会是于今早10时召开会议，讨论提名日、提早投票日、投票日、所采用的选民册及其他准备工作等。 首相拿督斯里纳吉是于上周五宣布本月7日正式解散，以举行第14届全国大选，各州政府也在这几天陆续宣布解散州议会。 莫哈末哈欣表示，共有1494万627人向选委会登记为选民，第14届全国大选共有8898个投票中心，而投票站则达到2万8995站。选委会也会出动25万9391名工作人员参与今届大选。 本届大选也将采用刚在国会上下议院通过新选区重划报告，在选区重划下，在大马半岛166个国会议席当中，多达98个国席的边界将出现改动。
程明智：建立强大砂拉越非常重要
砂拉越人民联合党中央青年总团长程明智表示，砂希盟提出邀约砂拉越国阵一起签署“新政协议”，再次证明建立一个更强大的砂拉越是非常重要的。 砂拉越人民联合党在去年12月的三年一度的党员代表大会上已经为来临的全国大选推展竞选主题：“更强大的砂拉越”，强调砂拉越必须更强大，并且拥有经济独立，以便能够进一步巩固砂拉越在马来西亚的宪法地位，以及砂拉越是1963年建国伙伴之一的身份地位。 非常明显的一点是，最近几年经过砂拉越国阵政府强力坚持争取索回所有大马契约赋予的权力和地位，砂拉越也的确透过权力下放程序取回了许多自主权力。同时在2016年州选中，砂拉越国阵狂胜的成绩也再次巩固了砂拉越是执政布城无法取代的“定存州”地位。 “因此今天反对党阵线也会如此重视在马来西亚里拥有自主地位的砂拉越，我一点都不感到惊讶。” 也是砂拉越首长署政治秘书的程明智分析说，”这次希盟有这样的动作绝对是破天荒。因为过去在反对党组成的替代阵线和人民联盟时代里，他们根本就不会考虑或是主动如此献议与砂拉越国阵签署“新政”合作协议。 程明智强调，“全砂人民此时此刻必须看清一个政治现实和需求，那就是全砂人民必须在即将到来的全国大选里将全部31国会议席委托给砂拉越国阵，等同做出一个最响亮的立场表态：（1）我们要证明全砂人民是团结一致支持我们首长阿邦佐哈里捍卫砂拉越；以及（2）31国会议席完全委托于砂拉越国阵是代表砂拉越全民认真坚持砂拉越所有的自主权和地位必须索回，没有任何妥协。 他评击希盟提出的”新政协议“对砂拉越来说是份坏协议。在”新政协议“里，希盟是假意表态愿意承认砂拉越是原本马来西亚建国伙伴之一的地位，并且如果顺利执政，就会恢复砂拉越的建国地位。但是在新政协议中，希盟针对砂拉越的石油拥有权力上的立场很明显的暴露了他们的假意。希盟还是死咬着认定砂拉越石油公司（PETROS）只不过是间石油开采承包公司，而不是一间拥有石油权和管制权的砂拉越石油公司。 希盟在新政协议中继续建议砂拉越只能要求20%的石油税。希盟也建议成立另一间石油天然气公司和国油公司共同管制在砂拉越领域内的石油和天然气开采。这些希盟的建议非常明显都是与我们砂拉越政府要索回100%石油天然气拥有权的议程背道而驰。 虽然在新政协议中，希盟口口声声要捍卫砂拉越的领土尊严。但是根据希盟以上几点建议和论点，他们对砂拉越领土尊严的藐视已经表露无疑。
