Deputy Premier, Datuk Amar Dr Sim Kui Hian witnesses the handing over of Grant to Dato Richard Wee for Qin San Tan Chinese Temple
Deputy Premier, Datuk Amar Dr Sim Kui Hian gave RM 3 million allocation for the extension construction of Qin San Yan Chinese temple at Muara Tebas.
Dr Sim said the Qin San Yan Chinese Temple at Kpg Muara Tebas, co-exisited with the local Malay community for the last 200 years which is unique in other parts of Malaysia but in Sarawak, it is an accepted fact as every races can live in tolerance and harmony.
He said original the temple need RM 5 for the pre Covid 19 but now it need RM 9 million for the work to be done.
The Temple is under Hokkien Association and the association raised more than RM 3 million itself. So they are sourcing for another RM 3 million.
Dr Sim also urged public to assist to donate generously for this very important landmark at the estuary of Sungai Sarawak.
