Tan Kai said not to rush the amendment of FC Article 1(2)

Political secretary to the Chief Minister, Tan Kai said the proposed Amendment of Federal Constitution Article 1(2) of the first reading of the proposed amendment to the Federal Constitution Article 1(2) yesterday shown that PH government just want to skimp the people of Sarawak and Sabah.

Tan Kai said that the proposed amendment just changed the original 13 states and further divide into item (a) of 11 states and item (b) of 2 states made no senses at all, there is no wording stated to restore the equal partnership of Sabah and Sarawak, as such, Sabah and Sarawak still remain as “state”.

“To restore the equal partnership is a long waiting wish of Sarawakian and Sabahan, PH government plays on the wording and careless on the issue will only caused fury in Sarawak,” he said.

Tan Kai believes that Sarawak‘s destiny is under the hands of Sarawakians and urges all to be united as one, stand firm and fight back our rights.
