Rectify sink hole and school fence fast: Wilfred Yap to JKR

SUPP Public Complaints Bureau Chief cum Kota Sentosa Branch Chairman, Wilfred Yap called to Public Works Department and their contractor to look into the rectification and repair works on a sink hole and collapsed fence at Mile 4 and half, Jalan Penrissen.

He said this is an urgent matter where repair works must be completed before the start of the School Year 2019 to prevent any unforeseen accidents that might arise as the safety of the students are of paramount importance.

Yap was approached for assistance by concerned parents of the school where work is being carried out on the roads under Pan Borneo Highway project.

Following the request for assistance received, Wilfred Yap together with other SUPP members had gone to inspect and assess the situation and also to see what can be done to quickly resolve the problem.

The complaint of the sink hole and collapsed fence at Chung Hua School, 4 ½ Mile have been highlighted and communicated to the Public Works Department and Sarawak Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Transport.
