Education fair to give more opportunities for school leavers.
Piasau assemblyman Datuk Sebastian Ting said an educational fair, Jelajah pendidikan 2018 program will be held at Miri Indoor Stadium this May 1, from 10am to 4pm to give more opportunities for school leavers.
The fair, under the Jelajah Pendidikan program, kicked off recently in Stampin, Kuching before heading to Petra Jaya, Kuching the following day and concluding in Miri on Labour Day.
Applicants are reminded to bring along copies of their parents’ MyKad and birth certificates as well as their own; parents’ income statement; UEC/SPM/STPM certificates; MUET result as well as copies of any relevant certificate.
Ting said school leavers from 2013 to 2017 who passed their UEC, SPM or STPM examinations; those who have SPM or STPM certificates but failed to enrol into any university; and those who are from poor family or categorised in the B40 group (bottom 40 per cent). can check up the programme.
