BN Sarawak will not allow parties outside Sarawak in

Speakers at a SUPP ceremah reminded the people that Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP) has pointed out that the Barisan Nasional (BN) Sarawak is not similar to their counterparts in Sabah and Peninsular Malaysia, as BN Sarawak will never let any other BN component parties based outside of Sarawak to come in to the state.

Candidate for Stampin, Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian said Sarawak will lose the power to fight for their rights under the Malaysia Agreement 1963 with the federal government if they do not vote for SUPP or Sarawak BN and told them that they should realised and appreciate what BN Sarawak has done a lot of development for the people. He added that the opposition did nothing but talk.

Lo Khere Chiang, Batu Kitang state assemblyman, said although we (SUPP) are the same BN coalition, we are purely interested in the rights of Sarawakians. We assure Sarawakian we wont let (other BN component) parties based outside of Sarawak take over this state as long as we are around.
