砂部长夫人协会捐助物资
配合即将来临的达雅节与开斋节，石角地区50户贫穷家庭获得砂部长夫人协会捐助物资，以迎接接近来临。受惠家庭来自石角地区数个甘榜的达雅与马来同胞。 石角区议员拿督沈桂贤与其夫人拿汀王淑燕，及多位社区领袖出席了在石角人民服务中心举行的分发物资仪式。 沈桂贤希望通过这项捐助，能减轻受惠者家庭在迎接节庆期间的经济负担。
Minister for Local Government and Housing, Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian and his wife gave away goodies to 50 families In conjunction with Hari Raya and Gawai this year.
The goodies were contributions from the Association of Sarawak Ministers and Assistant Ministers wives (SABATI) The recipients of the Dayaks and Malays from Kampung Desa Wira Sinar Budi Lama, Sinar Budi Baru and Rantau Panjang. Dr. Sim and his wife, Datin Enn Ong gave away the goodies at Batu Kawa Service centre yesterday. Dr. Sim said it was to assist the less fortunate and to ease their burden.
