砂卫生局人员荣休感恩宴
砂地方政府及房屋部部长拿督沈桂贤出席2017至2018年度砂卫生局人员荣休感恩宴活动，表扬为砂拉越卫生及医药领域作出贡献的医护人员。 他在致词时，强调若砂拉越每年有额外150亿令吉来自石油与天然气领域收益﹐那砂政府届时也将能够为砂拉越人民做得更多。当中就或可包括让砂拉越也像汶莱一般﹑得以让人民享有相关的免税收福利。 他坦言﹐砂公共医药领域发展在经费方面面对重重压力，但砂政府已经尽力尝试给予帮助﹑并冀望做得更多。 “在争回石油与天然气权益后﹐砂拉越在该领域所取得的收入﹐将让砂拉越政府得以更好地发展境内的医院﹑学校及道路等基本设施。” 沈桂贤表示，砂拉越人民一年缴付的消费税及个人所得税税收﹐就大约介于30亿到40亿令吉的水平﹐而在取得丰厚的石油与天然气收入之后﹐我们也或可能像汶莱一般﹐也让人民享有相关的免税收福利。 他希望砂拉越人民能够把握机会﹐并共同确保有关权益能够回到砂拉越手中。

BN candidates letters of appointment for GE14
Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg handed over Letters of appointment to contest in the upcoming 14th General Election (GE14) to 31 state Barisan Nasional candidates at the PBB headquarters. SJK(C) Stampin new school building
SJK(C) Stampin received their new school building after it was completed within one year. Funded by San Chin BBCJV Sdn Bhd, it was built with a cost of RM17 million and is located within the Gala City Integrated Development area, near the current school at Jalan Tun Jugah. The 30-classroom school was funded by the developer following a land swap deal to relocate the aging school block.
沈桂贤主持曾玉才家族书籍推展礼
砂地方政府及房屋部部长拿督沈桂贤受邀为曾玉才家族书籍主持推展礼。 他在致词时，希望砂拉越人民能够向著作书籍的曾氏家族学习，并相信每个家庭成员都有不同故事，可影响其他人跟随学习！他说，一个优质的家庭并非显示其经济良好及卓越，而是别人可以从他们身上学习到经验。 他盛赞曾玉才为砂拉越作出许多奉献，之前担任过南市市政局的秘书，如今还能够写书出版书籍，令他感到倾佩。 现场推展的三本书籍包括《探索姆鲁洞》、《我的人生路程》及《妈妈厨房的故事》。 沈桂贤表示，写一本书不仅专注在写作罢了，需要耗费许多时间及奉献，同时也具备身心和心理常识。对此，他要感谢作家记载及揭发了姆鲁不为人知的故事，让大众能够分享有关书籍。 他说，本身不曾有过推展3本书，这也证明作者花了许多心思结合拥有的知识，著作姆鲁的风土人情等。书籍的出版能够为下一代及所有砂拉越人留下一些东西，就如他现在参与政治，也作出了成功的心脏专科医院一样。 “每个人都有不一样的经历和故事，这是我们值得感到幸运的，有故事的人并非证明自己就是那么伟大及重要的，不过最重要的是如何鼓励别人。”
砂国阵候选人领取委任状
所有31名砂拉越国阵候选人今日领取候选人委任状。 首席部长拿督巴丁宜阿邦佐哈里在土保党总部颁发候选人委任状予所有候选人。其中，出席领取委任状的人联党候选人分别是古晋区许德婉、实旦宾区拿督沈桂贤、泗里街区拿督斯里范长锡、诗巫区拿督黄祈耀、南兰区江先柱及美里区拿督陈超耀。 在砂国阵所出战的31个国会选区，土保党占了14席、人联党7席、人民党6席以及民进党4席；其中，男性候选人25名，女性候选人6名。至于新面孔有14人，即土保党6名新人、人联党5名新人、人民党2名新人、民进党1名新人。 也是砂国阵主席的阿邦佐哈里也向全体候选人进行闭门会议。
实旦宾国民型华小新校舍开幕礼
砂地方政府与房屋部长拿督沈桂贤赞扬负责展开实淡宾国民型华文小学新校舍兴建工程的发展商，三晋BBCJV有限公司，与政府携手落实惠及社会的教育计划，此乃商界在教育发展做出贡献的楷模。 他形容该公司承担耗资1700万令吉的建校经费，并在12个也内完成如此规模的校舍工程，令人敬佩。 他出席实旦宾国民型华小新校舍开幕礼上致词时，表示实淡宾国民型华文小学至今已走过40年的岁月，并为砂拉越培育许多杰出的人才。 沈桂贤强调，华文教育不单只是语言教育，它也代表着华人的根和文化。就如已故砂首长丕显斯里阿迪南曾说过，教育是让个人与家庭拥有更好生活、促进社会融合及带领砂拉越走出婆罗洲丛林的钥匙。 他保证，砂政府会继续支持华文教育，而华文教育能够在砂拉越持续发展至今是先贤们的功劳。在他们过去为了捍卫华文教育，做出许多努力及牺牲，并在现在华文教育工作者与华社努力耕耘下，永续至今。 另外，三晋-BBCJV有限公司董事经理李晋德指出，实旦宾国民型华文小学新校舍落成，一旦迁入，将可让学生从中受惠。此外，这也能减少该区道路阻塞问题，尤其家长载送孩子上下课时。 新校舍占地3英亩，是一所四层楼的校舍，拥有30间课室、牙科室、音乐室、礼堂等。该新校舍设备齐全完善，并可容纳更多的学生，而现有的校舍占地2仅英亩，因学生过多，而实行早午班制。 他相信该新校舍或许会在达雅节前或后获得入伙准证。 他说，三晋BBCJV有限公司承担耗资1700万令吉的建校经费，于去年4月份展开，经过12个月的施工，一所新风貌且现代化的四层楼校舍终于落成。
沈桂贤：509是投砂自主权
砂人联党党魁兼实旦宾国会选区候选人拿督沈桂贤强调，509第14届国选投票日，砂拉越选民所投选的是“砂拉越自主权”，并非是纳吉、马哈迪或林吉祥等任何一名领袖，因此，砂拉越选民要珍惜这个机会，告诉西马选民“我们是不一样的”！ 他是于第14届国选砂人联党选举中央动员大会上，如是表态。他指出，1963年大马协议是由5个国家所签署，由此显示，没有砂拉越就没有马来西亚的形成。 他亦指出，砂拉越人民很幸运，在55年后拥有已故前首长阿迪南推动砂拉越索权斗争，让砂拉越的自主权意识在全马抬头，并让西马人不敢看轻砂拉越人。 他举例，去年的油价不降，国油单单去年所赚取收入是450亿令吉，30%是来自砂拉越的贡献，要与全马人民共享；而砂拉越去年平均年收入仅仅是60亿令吉，要与30万砂拉越人口共享。 “我们的心太好了，这是从1974年开始至今的情况（砂拉越仅取得5%石油与天然气开采税），道路基建等都较西马落后。我们够了！够了！” 沈桂贤深信，若相关资源回归砂拉越，就可以用于砂拉越许多发展。而支持阿邦佐团队就可以持续索权斗争，这也可从砂国油公司已全面取得发出石油及天然气开采权显见。 他形容，这是后阿迪南时代，也是黄衣的时代，因为砂国阵与西马国阵不一样！唯有砂拉越政府拨款独中与教会，也只有砂拉越有华人市长，却不似由反对党执政的槟城与雪兰莪，只能“看看而已”。 因此，他认为，今届国选乃砂拉越人民的一个机会，何况国阵竞选宣言已承诺，若国阵胜选，将归还砂拉越在1963年大马协议下有意或无意被侵蚀的砂拉越权益。

沈桂贤呼吁选民为砂权益而投
砂人联党主席拿督沈桂贤强调，本届大选更重要的是要为砂拉越权益而投。 他在党总部移交拨款时表示，如果赢得的席位不够多，就难以拥有团结的声音去争取更多权益。因此，如果国会选举中人联党能够胜出，相信选区会更好。 他指出，国油单单在去年就获得450亿令吉的盈利，尽管国际油价走低。砂拉越过去非常仁慈，与全国分享砂拉越的石油资源与财富。然而分享了这么多年，砂拉越并没有同等获得财富，反而在砂拉越的道路、学校、诊所等建设都比西马落后。 他强调，如今，砂拉越要争回更多权益，因为有权利，砂拉越才会更富有。 沈桂贤表示，其本身在去年已经拨出3700张拨款支票予受惠团体，今年截至目前也已经拨出818张支票予各大团体。这些拨款是源自数个来源，即州议员拨款、上议员、及石角州选区拨款。 “拨款是为了给各受惠团体继续营运做出更多对社会有意义的工作。” 他称，石角选区每年拥有2千万令吉拨款，这是政府的拨款制度，包括反对党执政的州属也有属于他们的拨款制度，只是拨款款额不同而已。若他在州选中未胜出，他也不能拨出更多款项让更多团体受惠。
陈超耀协助美里儿童申请公民前
砂人联党卑尔骚区州议员拿督陈超耀协助美里1名儿童申请到公民权。 据悉，该儿童此前申请了8年皆无下文，儿童父亲陈国铭因此向陈超耀求助。在孩子拿到公民权后，陈国铭感激陈超耀和人联党的协助，完成了他多年来的心愿。 现年67岁的陈国铭对于孩子公民权迟迟没有获得批准感到非常担心；他的妻子是印尼国民，儿子陈明仔是在2005年10月诞生，今年在初中一念书。 当局不发出报生纸给陈明仔的原因是，陈明仔是在陈国铭和妻子莉莎办理结婚证书后半年左右才呱呱落地。基于孩子在夫妇俩仅结婚了半年就生下孩子这个不合理的因素，而不批准陈明仔的报生纸，只发出临时报生纸给他。 由于陈明仔的母亲是外国人，因此，作为父亲的陈国铭必须提供他和孩子的脱氧核糖核酸（DNA）检测报告。 陈国铭是在2011年开始办理孩子的公民权申请工作；由于几年下来当局迟迟没有批准，孩子已经进入东姑村的廉律国中就读初中一。他3年前来到人联党卑尔骚支部向陈超耀求助。
