Dr Sim: GE14 is about voting for Sarawak’s rights
Local Government and Housing Minister, Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian said voters must take into consideration when voting that they are voting for the rights of Sarawakians. SUPP Dr. Sim Team has given a ceremah recently at the Hui Sing Hawker Centre and Minister of Local Government and Housing Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian, who is SUPP president, showed up unannounced to raise the team spirit and motivation. 沈桂贤呼吁选民为砂权益而投
砂人联党主席拿督沈桂贤强调，本届大选更重要的是要为砂拉越权益而投。 他在党总部移交拨款时表示，如果赢得的席位不够多，就难以拥有团结的声音去争取更多权益。因此，如果国会选举中人联党能够胜出，相信选区会更好。 他指出，国油单单在去年就获得450亿令吉的盈利，尽管国际油价走低。砂拉越过去非常仁慈，与全国分享砂拉越的石油资源与财富。然而分享了这么多年，砂拉越并没有同等获得财富，反而在砂拉越的道路、学校、诊所等建设都比西马落后。 他强调，如今，砂拉越要争回更多权益，因为有权利，砂拉越才会更富有。 沈桂贤表示，其本身在去年已经拨出3700张拨款支票予受惠团体，今年截至目前也已经拨出818张支票予各大团体。这些拨款是源自数个来源，即州议员拨款、上议员、及石角州选区拨款。 “拨款是为了给各受惠团体继续营运做出更多对社会有意义的工作。” 他称，石角选区每年拥有2千万令吉拨款，这是政府的拨款制度，包括反对党执政的州属也有属于他们的拨款制度，只是拨款款额不同而已。若他在州选中未胜出，他也不能拨出更多款项让更多团体受惠。
