Annual programme for Barisan YB’s wives
YB Datuk Sim recently represented the CM for a trip to Alor Setar to attend the Program Tahunan Isteri Wakil Rakyat BN Malaysia. The program started on 7th February until 11th February 2017. The Sarawak Sabati badminton team won 3rd prize.
Walkabout and upgrading of the Ocean Park
State Assemblyman for Piasau, Dato’ Sebastian Ting went down to Ocean Park, Jalan Bakam with a number of City council Councillors and Engineers to have a site visit to the basketball court there. Before the last election, he said a number of the local residents had approached him and suggested some upgrade is needed in the ocean park. Walkabout in Kpg Wireless
Piasau State Assemblyman went down to Miri Kpg Wireless with City Council Councilors and Engineers to have a site visit on the bridge. In last year’s RTP 2016, one of the projects submitted is for the repair of the damaged bridge in the Kampung. The project has since been approved and the City council will come out with a plan on repairing the bridge. They is a total of 19 bridges connected through out the whole Kampung.

砂人联党主席兼砂地方政府部长拿督沈桂贤代表首长拿督阿玛阿邦佐哈里出席于亚罗士打举行的国阵议员夫人常年活动，该活动是从2月7日举行至11日。 其中，砂部长及助理部长夫人协会在一项羽毛球团体赛中，获得第三名。
