人联党反对任何推行伊刑法的意图
砂拉越人民联合党坚决反对任何推动伊斯兰刑事法的意图和行动，任何方面或个人若推动这项和背道而驰的政策，将是促使国家分裂的祸首。 人联党对伊斯兰刑事法从始至终都是保持反对立场和态度，没有任何妥协的余地。 人联党主席拿督沈桂贤今日与砂拉越首席部长兼砂拉越国阵主席丹斯里阿迪南对有关事件进行了交流，首长也再度表明砂拉越不会推行伊斯兰刑事法，也坚持反对有关的法案，并指示所有土保党穆斯林国会议员持反对态度和立场。 砂拉越国阵成员党，即砂拉越土保党、人联党和人民党已表明一致反对立场，这些成员党的国会议员将会对伊斯兰刑事法的提呈投反对票。 我们对伊斯兰党结合部分极端巫统领袖计划明天在国会提呈伊斯兰私人法案感到愤怒，认为这是将促成国家分裂的危险举动。 我们绝对不认同和支持国家出现两种刑事法，伊斯兰刑事法不但抵触多元民族的马来西亚和谐社会及国家宪法，也会严重影响非穆斯林的生活作息，包括限制营业时间，男女交往自由，穿着等，这是多元民族社会所不能接受的。 伊斯兰党之所以如此不顾国家各族感受，一而再在国会挑战现有国家宪法，幕后最大推手就是西马行动党，是该党促使伊斯兰党壮大和增加国会议员的祸首。 行动党在505国会选举期间，信誓旦旦向选民保证民联（当时行动党、伊斯兰党和人民公正党的政治联盟）不会推动伊斯兰刑事法，并呼吁选民投票支持伊斯兰党。所以，行动党不能逃避或推卸这种历史责任。
公共投诉局协助处理社险申请
砂拉越人民联合党公共投诉局主任叶耀星日前接获来自八点地一名妇人要求协助查询有关其丈夫社会保险金的申请状态。该名事主育有三名小孩且妻子失业在家。 该名事主因一起肇事撞后逃车祸导致腰部以下瘫痪；家庭经济面临困难。 该名妻子要求社会保险机构尽快处理其丈夫的福利金申请，因为丈夫是整个家庭唯一的收入来源 砂拉越人民联合党公共投诉局已将此事向砂拉越社险机构反映并强烈要求他们尽快审批其申请以解燃眉之急。 砂拉越人民联合党公共投诉局奉告大众砂拉越社险机构是由政府成立以保障员工因疾病，意外，死亡或丧失工作能力而提供援助。若事主因故丧生，其家属也可申请援助金或接领其社险赔偿。 人联公共投诉局已做好准备并尝试通过相关部门解决影响社区的公共议题。人联党公共投诉局已准备好为面对相关问题却不懂得如何处理的民众伸出援手。任何相关事宜可联系人联党公共投诉（016-7797688或082246999）或亲临人联党总部。
