The following is the text of speech by the Party’s President, Tan Sri Peter Chin, during the CC meeting at SUPP hq today (7 September). Tan Kai re-elected as Youth Chief

SUPP Youth Chief Tan Kai retained his position for the second term. Milton Foo, who had earlier on wanted to contest for the chairman post, failed to get a seconder. Following the victory announcement, Foo shook hands with  Tan Kai hand and called on his supporters to recognise Tan Kai as the Youth chief. He said they should all worked together as a team.


Peter Chin – be focused, united and win more seats

SUPP President, Tan Sri Peter Chin reminded the Youth delegates that the most important thing in politics is winning the seats. Tan Sri Peter’s advice to Youth – stay united despite contest

SUPP President, Tan Sri Peter Chin called on the youth delegates to remain united and focus on the tasks they have to face in the future. Tan Kai – stay united even though there’s a contest

SUPP youth Chairman, Tan Kai called on the delegates to be united as out of the 88 nomination forms received, they can only have 72 delegates for the youth.
