老街人猿壁画掀起热潮
立陶宛籍画家尔纳斯于昨日现身古晋，并在老街画上人猿壁画，引起热议，画上壁画的墙壁也因此爆红，成为参观与拍照的热点。 尔纳斯是于昨日上午11时开始在电力街的墙上作画，直到傍晚，两个人猿壁画大功告成，让原本平凡无奇的墙壁，变得生动起来。 从昨晚开始，就有不少人趋前拍照，有者作装推着满载人猿的手推车，也有人干脆把小孩子放在手推车内，与人猿“共车”。 另一个人猿壁画是，一只人猿攀着水管，注视着街上的路人。叫人忍俊不禁的是，有人在其手上挂着饮料和香蕉，引人注目。
砂人联青：行动党草率回应回教刑事法
回教党主席拿督斯里哈迪阿旺不久前揭露，民联高层理事会早已通过在吉兰丹州实行回教刑事法的决定，砂人联青对此表示感到震惊之余，也对行动党秘书长兼槟州主席林冠英以“不冷不热”的态度来回应此事深感遗憾。 针对如此重大且可以影响到所有非穆斯林马来西亚公民的严重事件，林首长仅表示哈迪阿旺犯了不幸的错误及说了不该讲的东西，如此轻描淡写，似乎没有意识到失态的严重性。 林首长不温不火的态度实实在在地证明了行动党根本不将回教刑事法的实行当着一回事，而行动党草率的回应更反映出该党对在过去多届选举大力支持火箭的华印裔和其他非穆斯林选民不坦诚及没诚意。此等种种无不让人开始反思，行动党是否如想象中的可靠及可信，人民是否可以继续期望行动党在联邦宪法之下捍卫他们的权益？ 很明显的，行动党为了实现该党的政治议程可以不择手段。该党明知在大马实行回教刑事法的严重后果，依然选择和回教党站在同一阵线更不惜在选举中替该党候选人站台说好尽话，还向非穆斯林选民发表“不偷不抢就不必害怕刑事法”的不负责任言论。 人联青秘书长叶耀星表示，回教党企图通过在丹州实行回教刑事法的决定，说明了行动党是个只懂得讲但没有实际行动的政党，该党在多元民族、文化和宗教的马来西亚国度内捍卫占少数民族方面失败得非常彻底。 公正党青年运动早前就实施回教刑事法一事上强烈反击行动党并要求后者退出民联。这又证明了行动党在民联这所谓的“联盟”内言论不受到重视，即使发言了也没有实际的影响力。 叶耀星认为，行动党为了向证明人民负责并且证明该党有诚信而且不是只懂得一味附和的无牙老虎，就应该坚决地推出民联，与回教党和公正党划清界限。回教刑事法一旦开始在我国实行，势必彻底改变整个国家的社会面貌甚至非穆斯林国民的生活习惯也会受到程度难以想象的影响，行动党又怎么能够以如此敷衍草率的方式来逃避问题及不愿面对现实，背叛人民的信托呢？

陈华贵：8月份党代是解决党问题的最好时机
砂人联党主席丹斯里陈华贵强调，解决党问题的最好时机，就是今年8月份举行的三年一度党员代表大会及党选举。 他重申，若党内的领袖要解决党问题，就必须拿出诚意，只要有诚意，问题就有望解决。 他说，若没有诚意的话，就难以找到解决问题的方案，进而无法让问题获得圆满解决。 陈华贵于日前在美里受访时表示，首长丹斯里阿德南沙登曾经说过，人联党及民进党有必要尽速解决党内的问题，因为州选即将举行。 “对于首长此番言论，我深表同意，人联党必须早日解决党内的问题。” 有鉴于此，他强调，定于8月22日及23日举行的党代及党选，就是解决党内问题的最好时机，透过党选选出新领袖，产生新领导层，就能让人联党有机会摆脱目前的困境。 同时，陈华贵也相信，社团注册局会接受人联党卑尔骚及柏戈奴支部针对被吊销注册而做出的上诉，并在党选之前，让这两个支部恢复注册。
