SUPP women wing on Hudud
SUPP Central Women Section Chairman Amy Tnay urged women to come out in full force to oppose the Hudud law.
Tnay who was speaking at the motivation talk in SUPP on Saturday night, said the Woman’s section of SUPP respect religious freedom in Malaysia, protect the rights of women and defend those whose rights are violated.
She cited an example under Hudud, a rapist would only be convicted if there were four witnesses, which is so unfair to the victim.
Helen Seibt, the founder of IDC Group of Companies, will be a guest speaker. The event was jointly organised by IDC Group of Companies and the Supp women section.
