陈超耀造访社区
砂人联党中央宣教秘书拿督陈超耀在百忙中，不忘抽空造访社区，聆听基层人民的心声。 他于日前到访美里丹戎巴都（Tanjung Batu），与当村民与社区领袖度过一个充实及富有意义的时光。 陈超耀也是人联党卑尔骚支部主席。 自从参政以来，他一直都秉持一个信念，那就是惟有亲自走访基层，才能真正了解人民的心声。 因此，无论是多忙碌，他都会设法抽出时间，倾听人民的声音，理解他们所面对的问题。
Community Visit
SUPP Publicity Chief, Dato’ Sebastian Ting visited Tanjung Batu, Miri where he spent a fruitful time with the villagers and community leader. Ting who is also the Piasau SUPP branch chairman said he would always find time to spend with kampung folks to catch up with how they are doing and at the same time attend to their problems.
砂人联党纪律委员会发出“要求解释信”
根据本地中文报的报导，砂人联党纪律委员会已经发出“要求解释信”给诗巫支部主席拿督斯里黄顺舸。 据报导，这封信是于6日寄至诗巫支部办事处，并由在场职员签收。 该信函阐明，黄顺舸必须在14天之内，针对数项课题作出解释，否则纪律委员会可采取纪律对付行动。 据悉，相关纪律委员会是基于中委会成员提出黄顺舸在第13届全国大选期间涉及犯下违纪行为，并交出证据，因此才发信给黄顺舸。 无论如何，黄顺舸可在限定时间内，对相关投诉作出解释。 纪律委员会是独立运作的组织，不受中央领袖影响，其成员非来自中委会或常务，不过均是资深党员。

SUPP Disciplinary Committee has send a show-cause letter to Minister of Environment and Public Health, Dato Sri Wong Soon Koh who is also the Chairman of Sibu branch on Friday, giving him 14 days to respond or disciplinary action will be taken against him. 陈华贵：曼德拉是独一无二的伟人
砂人联党主席丹斯里陈华贵对于南非前总统曼德拉不幸逝世，致以最深切的哀悼。 他恰好在近期读完关于曼德拉的传记，因此，对于这位伟人的逝世，难免感触良多。 他说，南非人民，甚至是全世界人都失去了一个伟大的人物。 “曼德拉生前长期为自由和平主义的斗争作出奉献，对正义的追求有着坚定的信念。最终为南非人民带来平等与和平。” 陈华贵说，曼德拉是独一无二的，像他这样的人物，真的不多见，尤其是在现今的社会。 他相信，人联党60、70年代的干部，也深刻感受曼德拉的斗争经历。 “愿他在天堂安息。”

President of SUPP, Tan Sri Peter Chin said the passing of Nelson Mandela is a loss not only to South Africans but the rest of the World. 首相维持开明作风，关照国阵各成员党
首相兼全国国阵主席拿督斯里纳吉配合2013年度巫统常年代表大会，所发表有关国阵成员党应先解决内部问题，之后才能履行改革及赢取民心的言论，应该获得人联党全体党员的关注。这是一个明确的讯息，那就是在第13届全国大选结束后，尽管有“注重马来人权益，放弃华人票”的呼声，但开明的首相纳吉，显然不会对其他国阵成员党弃置不顾。 尽管面对巫统党内部的压力，但纳吉由始至终，一直都履行他上任首相以来的承诺，那就是当个全民首相。 他在选举结束后，也在多个场合一再表明，尽管普遍华人在大选支持在野党，但政府不会基于这个原因，拒绝照顾华人。 反之，纳吉真正担心的是，选举后出现的局势，是否会分裂国内族群。 基于这个原因，他在11月亲自推介国民团结咨询理事会，让该会能够配合政府的努力，达致团结国民的目标。 人联党秘书长沈桂贤医生认为，纳吉一直贯彻“全民首相”的原则，这是大马人民的福气。在目前整个局势的演进，确实是需要思想开明的领袖，让人民能活在安宁和谐的环境，远离种种极端。 他觉得，极端政治可摧毁现有的和谐，这是需要避免的。 实际上，自从党主席丹斯里陈华贵于2011年党选，受党员委托接过领导棒子后，他与一班领袖，一直都朝着重振党的目标前进。 陈华贵与所有领袖所做的努力，都是为了党的前途着想，这是不容质疑的。 在这关键时刻，党员应该配合党领袖的脚步，响应首相的呼吁，全力达致团结的目标，创造更好的明天。
Prime Minister’s concern for component parties
Sarawak United Peoples’ Party leaders expressed their appreciation for Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak stand behind them in time of crisis and challenges.Najib recently said in an interview during the UMNO general assembly that as a leading party, it is their part to strengthen their ” friends”, referring to BN component parties who are facing internal problems.
