陈超耀蝉联卑尔骚支部主席
砂人联党美里（卑尔骚）支部在党部召开三年一度党员大会，并选出2022至2024年度新届领导阵容，拿督陈超耀律师蝉联支部主席职。 陈超耀致词时，呼吁党员们必须放下歧见，全心团结一致，才能集结所有砂子民团结一心，共同守护砂拉越，并继续争取及捍卫砂权益。 他强调，人联党党内必须内部团结，才能走出党外为砂人提供更多帮助和服务，进而促请全砂人民团结。只有党内团结，才有能力帮助砂人和团结砂民，为砂子民谋求最大的权益。 陈超耀促请砂人关注，砂拉越政盟政府（GPS）早在2018年6月12日宣布退出国阵（BN）联盟，在2019年1月19日正式成立砂政盟政府。这也意味着，砂拉越政盟政府不必听取国阵指示，所以，砂政盟不必向之前事事都要听从国阵指示。 “砂政盟如今可在所有不利砂拉越的政策，敢于发表意见和拒绝，捍卫砂人权利。” 陈超耀在会上也不忘告知党员，希盟执政时期修宪，声称要恢复砂拉越和沙巴的平等建国地位，充其量只是将“马来西亚联邦”，分成两个区域，完全没有将MA63大马国建国契约被纳入修宪内。
陈超耀乐见人造湖公园增跑道
砂旅游副部长拿督陈超耀律师乐见昇阳集团出资兴建人造湖公园，打算把此公园兴建成全砂最长的健康跑道。 他说，新的跑道精心设计1.7公里健康跑道，连接原有的800米跑道达到全长2.5公里，让市民能轻松享受健康生活。 “人造湖公园位于城市范围，地点佳，早晚多人跑步、运动。” 陈超耀强调健康就是财富，提倡健康生活，运动是保持健康生活方式的重要一环，希望透过取打造健康休闲公园，提供城区广大市民休闲娱乐的重要场所。 他感谢昇阳集团，感谢昇阳集团首席执行员拿督林如健、丹斯里林昌和送给美里市民这份珍贵、美好的健康礼物。
SUPP Miri (Piasau) Branch the Branch General Meeting.
SUPP Piasau chairman, Datuk Sebastian Ting chaired the branch annual General meeting yesterday. Ting who is also deputy Minister of Tourism, Creative Industries and Performing Arts thanked his comrades for the all the support to their party especially to all the 2018-2021 committees for assisting the party throughout the years. He said they must continue to fight for Sarawak Rights and for the People of Sarawak.
Giving out food for the poor
Deputy Minister of Tourism, Creative Industries and Performing Arts, Datuk Sebastian Ting continued with his Hari Raya events where he together with JKKK to Surau Kpg Lereng Bukit and Penghulu Hj Samad to distribute 50 pax of food rations there. The recipients included single parent, orphans, senior members and needy families. Ting thanked Penghulu, KK Rahim and fellow friends for joining him yesterday afternoon.

Fruitful discussion with China Ambassador

Deadline for free vaccine for children on May 15
Deputy Premier, Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian urged parents who have not vaccinate their children to do so as soon as possible. Dr Sim said by May 15 next month, there will be no more vaccines offered as the first dose under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme for Children (PICKids). SUPP leaders distributing porridge in Miri Night Market
Sarawak Deputy Premier, Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian with his CWC members distribute rice porridge at the Miri Night Market last night to Muslims during the fasting month of Ramadan. A total of 500 packs of porridge were prepared and distributed. SUPP CWC on working visit to northern region
Sarawak United Peoples Party President, Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian with his secretary General, Datuk Sebastian Ting and Vice President, Datuk Lee Khim Shin visited party members from Lawas, Limbang and Miri yesterday. 砂拉越人民联合党中央秘书长拿督陈超耀律师欢迎砂总理署在权力范围内，向符合条件的21岁以下无国籍儿童发放临时证件的决定。 他说，这是让人鼓舞的决定，尤其是对长期受到无国籍困扰的儿童和家庭来说，非常具有意义。 “我们恭贺砂政府采取积极的行动，在联邦宪法第15A条文下，向符合条件的21岁以下儿童发放临时证件，协助他们获得教育和医疗设施便利。” 也是砂旅游副部长的陈超耀发文告说，虽然根据联邦宪法第15A条文，颁发公民权的权力在于联邦政府，但砂内阁决定在权力范围内，向无国籍儿童伸出援手，解决他们长期以来面对的生活问题。 他表示，无国籍儿童因为没有一纸身份证明，一直以来无法享有教育和医疗便利，生活与成长都受到影响。但实际上，基本的教育和医疗是属于基本人权，不应该为了证件问题，剥削他们的权益。 他说，根据砂妇女、儿童及社区和谐部长拿督斯里花蒂玛阿都拉的说法，临时证件只是为了解决教育和医疗便利问题，并非属于长久性解决无国籍问题方案。 亦是卑尔骚区议员的陈超耀，自2004年迄今就不间断积极处理公民权申请，包括儿童与成年人的案例皆有。根据他的经验，无国籍问题主要有3大原因，包括大马籍父母的孩子在国外出生、大马籍父亲与外籍配偶没有办理结婚证书以及出现假证件。 他指出，无国籍问题影响深远，从教育和医疗，至生活与工作，都令当事人深受困扰。更加不幸的是，大多数陷入无国籍问题的儿童都是来自贫困家庭，使到他们的生活雪上加霜。 “目前，颁发公民权的权力依然属于联邦政府的内政部，砂政府只能推荐。或许，联邦政府是时候考虑下放权力予砂政府，确保无国籍课题能更快速及更有效率地解决，而不是一宗案例可能拖延数年之久。” 陈超耀表示，对于无国籍儿童或人士来说，每天日子都像是煎熬，他们期望政府部门和国民登记局简化程序和繁文缛节，尽早摆脱无国籍的困扰。 他说，许多申请公民权的儿童或人士，实际上都是在砂拉越土生土长，只因为缺少一些文件或父母的疏忽，承受长期的折磨。他希望联邦政府认真看待此事，采取更有效的方式解决无国籍问题。
沈桂贤拜访柏拉旺服务中心
砂副总理兼砂人联党主席拿督斯里沈桂贤拜访N54柏拉旺服务中心，与柏拉旺区议员程明智副部长、武吉阿瑟区议员钱进一及诗巫市议会主席丁永豪商讨维修及提升道路事宜。 与此同时，一行人也拜访达鲁菲尔道斯回教堂（Masjid Darul Firdaus），了解该回教堂面对的问题，并且也分派杂锦粥及椰枣。 沈桂贤表示，支持程明智与钱进一，就是支持他，因此此番他前来就是要监督这2位人民代议士，以确保他们确实的有在工作，而不是仅靠着一张嘴来服务。 他指出，靠着嘴巴进行廉价的宣传，并不会有什么成果，人民所面对的问题继续存在。 他说，程明智与钱进一承诺在这5年内为诗巫带来改变，因此他感谢这两个选区的选民给予他们一个机会，就如5年前石角的选民给予他一个机会一样。 他很肯定的表示，砂总理已经宣布，诗巫未来10至15年会有大型的发展项目，这些发展项目并不只是发展配套而已，而是打造诗巫成为每位居住在诗巫的人之好地方。 他表明，会尽量每个月都前来，以便能够尽早解决亟待处理的民生问题，而且加上新上任的议员，仍有许多方面需要学习。 他称，他此次前来了解并探讨柏拉旺区的问题，因为有许多问题是常年累积下来的，需要去处理，而且还要知道正确的解决方式。 他续称，议员们每年都有500万的乡区转型计划（RTP），并且还需要了解各样的拨款。
