人联党：中央权力下放将助落实砂拉越人的砂拉越理念
砂拉越人民联合党认为，中央政府同意将更多权力下放给砂州政府，是朝向并落实砂拉越人的砂拉越理念最重要起步。 人联党指出，砂州政府一旦获得中央赋予更大、更多权力后，就能以砂拉越人的姿态及管理模式去管理砂州，根据砂州人民的需要去推动发展计划，这对砂州未来人民和地方发展至关重要。 “人联党向来支持砂拉越人的砂拉越理念，因此希望中央政府首席秘书及州务秘书尽快处理相关细节，确保中央政府能在最短时间内宣布权力下放给州政府的项目及相关内容。” 人联党对首相拿督斯里纳吉日前为砂州人民捎来中央政府将会下放更多权力给州政府的消息深表支持及高兴。 “砂首长丹斯里阿德南不久前公开向人民承诺，将会要求首相赋予砂州政府更多及更大权力，随着首相这项宣布，证明阿德南是位兑现承诺，且了解砂州人民需求的领袖。” 人联党对纳吉快速对阿德南提出的要求做出回应感到高兴，并认为他是真正通过频密到访砂州，实地了解砂州整体及人民的需要后，做出的明智决定。我们希望未来中央政府能对砂州做出更大发展努力及贡献。 砂州各族都是热爱和维护砂州利益的族群，任何对砂州有利的政策，无论是基本设施的建设或提升人民生活水平，都应不遗余力给予支持。 人联党表示，争取砂州更多的自治权力或维护砂州权益的方式，不一定要通过激进、不满、呐喊或宣泄方式或行动进行，往往内部协商及沟通比在外呐喊更能取得事半功倍效益。 人联党与国阵共处数十年，肩负为国家和人民带来繁荣与进步责任，这项责任没有因为处在政治巅峰或低潮而改变，重视砂州自主权更是人联党从未改变的立场。所以人联党会延续向“维护砂州人民权益的砂拉越人民联合党”（SUPP for Sarawakian）的目标和理念挺进。

俞小珊呼吁成员党枪口对外
砂拉越人民联合党中央宣教秘书俞小珊认为，州国阵在呼吁成员党“枪口对外”之前，必须先与联民党和人民自强党划清政治立场上的界线。 他表示，人联党支持并认同国阵成员党要保持高度合作，以枪口一致对外形式对付反对党。这是国阵多年来一直沿用的选举合作模式。 “但是联民党和人民自强党既不是成员党，却一直干扰成员党内部事务，人联党无法接受和认同这种做法，国阵领袖必须对此尽快做出决定，和这两个非国阵成员党之间划清明确的界线。” 俞小珊指出，只要国阵没有和联民党及人民自强党划清界线的一天，所谓国阵成员党枪口对外皆是空谈，一切都会是徒然。 人联党欢迎州国阵秘书拿督伦迪昨日希望国阵成员党能在来届州选枪口对外，认清反对党才是真正的敌对政党的言论。 不过，他认为，敌对政党应该是不属于国阵，却又要和国阵成员党争取地位的政党，这一点身为国阵领袖的必须清楚说明及给公众明确解说。 人联党及民进党非常高兴，在联民党及人民自强党课题上，一直获得人民党特别是该党主席丹斯里詹姆士玛欣的支持。 “国阵不能对这两个政党持有莫宁两可的政治立场，人联党的原则和立场已表明的非常清楚，不反对任何认同与支持国阵政策的政党、非政府组织甚至民间团体协助国阵，特别是在选举期间协助宣传，为国阵争取选票。但他们不能，也没有权力推荐、委派候选人，更没有资格代表国阵上阵。” 俞小珊指出，联民党和人民自强党领袖频频宣称会来届州选择会在属于人联党和民进党的选区上阵，这严重干预国阵内部事务，国阵领袖须尽快处理和解决，否则将会直接影响国阵成员党之间的合作，更会与“枪口对外”目标背道而驰，影响国阵选举成绩。

砂拉越人民联合党主席拿督沈桂贤上议员对于上诉庭今日推翻高庭裁定选委会重新划分砂拉越州选区无效的裁决，表示尊重。 他表示，这是我国有史以来首宗，选委会选区重新划分的建议被带上法庭挑战。古晋高庭今年5月裁决，选委会在报章上刊登的新选区划分建议通告违宪和无效。选委会随后提出上诉。 然而，以拿督莫哈末查华威为首的上诉庭三司，一致批准选委会所提出的上诉。 沈桂贤认为，上诉庭的裁决非常重要，因为它是涉及公众利益。 尽管如此，他强调，砂人联党始终都坚持“一人一票”的原则。 他也表示，砂人联党并非是华裔或城市政党，而是多元政党，并拥有土著议席。 因此，在这立场下，任何选区重新划分，若新选区是来自砂人联党传统竞选的选区，就必须归于砂人联党。举例来说，若文莪区划分为两个选区，那么自然地，这两个选区都是属于砂人联党出战。

陈超耀：为马航MH370所有罹难者致哀
砂拉越人民联合党呼吁全国上下人民一起为马航MH370所有罹难者致哀，并期望其家属坚强渡过难关。 砂拉越人民联合党中央秘书长拿督陈超耀今日发表文告指出，尽管马航MH370班机坠毁迄今已515天，但是人联党全体同仁对该空难事件的心情依然沉重，亦能深深感受到罹难者家属在这段期间因失去亲人、等待当局搜寻结果那种备受煎熬的心情，令人倍感同情。 他说，人联党再次向机上239名罹难者家属致以最深切的哀悼和慰问。 他说，随着首相纳吉今天凌晨宣布，一支国际专家团队已经证实，在留尼汪岛发现的飞机残骸，确实属于MH370。相信这将逐渐解开马航MH370班机“失踪”期间，许多人对此空难事件作出各种不同的揣测的谜团。无论如何，失去亲友家人的悲痛却是难以磨灭的记忆。 他续说，首相纳吉承诺，政府将尽一切所能找出真相，表示马来西亚将永远记得飞机上失去的生命。 资料显示，马航MH370班机原定从吉隆坡飞往北京，但于2014年3月8日凌晨1点30分与航空控制中心失去联络，震惊全球。 首相纳吉在同年3月24日宣布，根据卫星资料分析，MH370飞机已在澳洲珀斯以西的南印度洋坠落。其间，共有26个国家参与搜寻，属于航空史上之最，搜索范围从南中国海到印度洋，但一无所获，直到最近留尼汪岛的重大发现。 飞机失踪515天后，在留尼汪岛发现的飞机残骸，经证实来自MH370。
