Political Secretary, Teng Ung Woo visited a 10 door longhouse at Sg. Kesa, Sarikei after receiving information that the long house had leaking roofs and broken floor aside fro other land issue. 陈超耀：美里与中国石油大学开展合作

罗克强援助房屋遭强风破坏灾黎
砂人联党巴都吉当区州议员兼巴达旺市议会主席罗克强前往巴达旺10哩，为当地日前遭强风破坏房子的巫裔家庭伸出援手。这户人家的房子就座落在兰迪路的路口附近。 上个星期日，一阵强风吹袭当地的甘榜斯里阿朱纳，而其中一名住户登尼拉坤，原本计划在周一举家欢庆哈芝节，但强风摧垮了他们房子屋顶的一大块。 罗克强当时受到通知后，隔天与社区领袖本固鲁林应发移交了一笔援助金予登尼拉坤，以修补屋顶。同时，他们也将此事告知社会福利局，以寻求紧急援助。 后来在短短一个星期内，古晋省社会福利局的官员诺哈雅蒂为登尼拉坤一家人带来了2500令吉的援助金，而罗克强不仅还亲自到场，还个人再捐出500令吉，让登尼一家人的房子可以尽早修好。 罗克强表示，当面对紧急事件时，人们可以通过正确的管道寻求援助。而登尼拉坤的事件显示，政府还是非常体恤人民，惟若要寻求援助，必须通过正确的管道。
七哩商联幼儿园马来西亚日和中秋节庆典
砂人联党巴都吉当区州议员罗克强希望年轻一代了解，1963年9月16日是砂拉越、沙巴、马来亚联合邦11州及新加坡共组马来西亚的历史。 他说，新加坡于1965年8月9日脱离马来西亚，因此如今的马来西亚是由砂拉越、沙巴及马来亚联合邦所组成。 他日前出席7哩商联会幼儿园举办的马来西亚日暨幼儿园中秋活动上致词时，希望更多幼儿园向七哩商联幼儿园看齐，庆祝马来西亚节日及各族传统节日，让小朋友知道节日的由来和意义，有助于促进小朋友之间的友爱团结。 也是巴达旺市议会主席的罗克强指出，国庆日刚过去，今年马来西亚日与中秋节，几乎落在同个时候，因此各族人民一起庆祝，更显热闹。 “庆祝马来西亚日与中秋节都可以促进各族人民和谐团结，尤其是年轻一代，各族人民团结，和睦共处，比什么都重要。” 他说，世界多国人民每年庆祝中秋节，已经不是中国人或海外华人的专利。中秋节也早已经成为砂拉越人民共同庆祝的传统节日，各族人民一起欢庆中秋节，一起提灯笼，一起吃月饼。 今年最多人庆祝中秋节的地区，非古晋莫属。亚答街、石角老街、新尧湾老街及古晋多个地区，一连数晚的庆祝中秋节活动，吸引成千上万的各族民众及外国游客，一起庆祝，热闹极了。 他说，砂拉越各族人民，前所未有的精诚团结，对首席部长拿督巴丁宜丹斯里阿迪南沙登为砂拉越州争取自主权，肯定大有帮助。
全民提灯笼庆中秋
由人联党朋岭支部妇女组、南区妇女组及Sara Urusharta有限公司联办的“全民提灯笼，和睦庆中秋”大游行于17日晚上成功举行，获得上百名民众的参与。 这项活动也邀请砂地方政府部长兼人联党主席拿督沈桂贤出席主持开幕仪式。 主办单位免费赠送3000个灯笼给参与大游行的民众，部分民众早在傍晚6时30分已抵达现场索取灯笼。 提灯笼活动于晚上8时在砂大厦购物中心开始游行，全程约一公里，获得多元民族的家长、教师及学生踊跃响应，再次凸显砂人民以实际行动表现出种族和谐的良好传统。

He said Kai Joo Lane weekend Night Market is a success story of urban rehabilitation and rejuvenation in the old section of the City of Kuching. It provides business and job opportunities and seeing the local community coming together like in the old days. He will do his best to encourage all the 26 local councils in Sarawak to identify opportunities like this.

砂地方政府部长兼石角区州议员拿督沈桂贤于今日巡视石角区的工程计划。 他前往味源路视察当地的道路提升工程，该工程是乡村转型发展计划的项目之一。 同时，他也前往味源港的慈云庙，视察该庙的重建工程。 沈桂贤除了会走访全砂之外，还会定期关注自己选区的发展计划。 他非常感谢天猛公陈如飞、人联党石角支部秘书林亚德及沈医生团队的努力工作。
Celebrating Malaysia Day
SUPP State Assemblyman for Piasau, Dato Sebastian Ting joined in the joyous Malaysia Day celebration in Bintulu on september 16. Ting called to the government to celebrate the day on a more grand scale as this was when Malaysia was formed with Singapore, Malaya, Sarawak and Sabah way back in 1963. He also hoped that Sarawak, Sabah and Malaya would take turn to have the main celebration each year.
