罗克强为贫苦家庭伸出援手

人联党巴都吉当区州议员罗克强于日前前往甘榜里达丹纳(Kpg Lidah Tanah),向一户贫苦家庭伸出援手。 该家庭一家之主现年40岁的布斯曼于3个月前陷入瘫痪,无法行动,而妻子查丽娜因为得照顾3名年幼的孩子,无法工作。 罗克强代他们一家人申请回教福利基金局的援助金,该局将每个月提供700令吉援助,而社会福利局也会提供每月300令吉的援助。而罗克强个人则捐献1000令吉予他们一家人。 他希望社会上善心人士可以关注需要帮助的一群,为他们伸出援手。

New hawker stall centre for traders in Kpg Bumbok

“辉煌条纹”国旗打拇指印活动

一项由8个华青总团所推动的“辉煌条纹”国旗打拇指印活动,目前正在全砂各地积极展开中,以期能打破大马最多打拇指印纪录。届时,由全国各地民众打拇指印而成的国旗,将在916大马日上展现。 此项“Thumbs Up 4 MY”国旗打拇指印活动,在砂拉越推行时的主题为“我的国家马来西亚”,并由砂人联党青年团总团负责推行。在泗里街方面,则由人联党泗支部青年团负责推动。 砂首长署政治秘书邓文武表示,此项打拇指印活动是将国旗分切成数个2尺乘2尺的小区块,再分发到各地邀请各族民众,以拇指染在所属区块的国旗颜色,在该区块打上他们的拇指印。 截至目前为止,该活动在泗里街方面已收集到800多个拇指印,而他们最终的目标是1000个。 配合此项活动,人联党泗支部青年团团委们在团长兼砂首长署政治秘书邓文武的带领下,前天除了在“为残疾儿童而跑”大型关怀义跑活动上设立临时柜台,让民众参与之外,也前往泗圣安东尼中学,让该校师生一起在该区块上打上拇指印。


甘榜蓬波小贩中心课题

砂人联党巴都吉当区州议员兼巴达旺市议会主席罗克强驳斥民主行动党古晋国会议员张健仁特别助理阿都阿兹指责市议会欺压甘榜蓬波(Kpg Bumbok)小贩的言论。 他表示,难道市议会花费将近100万令吉,提升道路,沟渠和兴建一座新小贩中心,备有停车场等设施,是为了“欺压”小贩?他说,巴达旺市议会已经多次与小贩对话,无论是在甘榜或小贩中心,而市议会是在和小贩达致共识的情况下,才决定提升该小贩中心。 提升小贩中心,包括提供水电设施的目的,是为了小贩和消费者的利益而考量。该中心可以为小贩遮阳,同时有明确的路牌指示,以及储藏空间让小贩使用。 罗克强强调,大部分的小贩都同意迁入该小贩中心。但是,的确有一部分小贩不愿这么做,继续在旧地方摆卖。 他表示,阿都阿兹利用这课题宣传,凸显后者在政治上不够成熟的一面。 他说,阿都阿兹应该与甘榜领袖沟通,清楚了解当地发生的课题,而不是急于发表言论,在小贩之间散播不满情绪。若后者有诚意要解决小贩的问题,应该致力促进小贩之间的了解与沟通。

A dinner hosted by Diabetes Malaysia Miri (DMM) recently raised more than RM65,000, which would go for the proposed one-stop diabetes centre project. 峇哥中公迁校有望今年内落实

砂地方政府及房屋部长拿督沈桂贤表示,峇哥中公迁校计划有望能在今年内落实。 他在出席佛林匹克运动会开幕仪式后,于受访时表示,教育部长原则上已经批准峇哥迁校,目前有待官方批文正式发出,便能开始执行各项后续工作。 “教育部长原则上已经同意(迁校),上一次过来(砂州)已说过会尽快批准。” 不过,他坦言,即使取得批文但峇哥中公新校的建设工程也许耗时二至三年才能完成,因此有足够时间让教育部物色足够的师资。 他指出,他将会继续跟进峇哥中公迁校的事宜,而且新的校地已鉴定完毕,学校蓝图也准备妥当,一旦批文正式发出,相关单位便能即刻展开后续工作。 “目前学校蓝图已经有了,只要批文正式下来,接下来的事情就容易办了。” 无论如何,沈桂贤希望峇哥中公迁校的计划能够在今年内开始进行。据了解,峇哥中华公学新校地位于三马拉汉区。


沈桂贤:欢迎议会推出环保措施

砂地方政府及房屋部长拿督沈桂贤欢迎任何环保的努力。 不过,他表示目前其部门尚没有计划立法禁用塑料袋,因为这课题尚未明朗化。 他欢迎各砂拉越各个地方议会自行推广及探测落实的程度,毕竟只有议会才了解能够落实的程度。 他赞扬诗巫及美里市议会积极推广向塑料袋说“不”的决心,以配合联邦政府推崇的使用可生物降解产品的措施。 询及古晋地方议会是否会效彷一事,沈桂贤表示,该部门欢迎任何环保的做法及努力。与此同时,他也鼓励其他地方议会效彷,共同响应环保及再循环措施。 “只要是对环境保护利好的措施,砂拉越地方政府及房屋部一律欢迎!若强制禁用塑料袋,基于未做好任何准备的情况下,可能会面对措手不及的问题。” 沈桂贤续说,在国内有一些州属尝试禁止使用塑料袋,但没能成功,因此,砂拉越将会改以鼓励的方式看待此课题。

砂地方政府及房屋部长拿督沈桂贤捐献1万令吉予马来西亚糖尿病协会美里分会,作为该会日常运作基金及筹建会所资金。 人联党卑尔骚区州议员拿督陈超耀代表沈桂贤,将捐款移交予马来西亚糖尿病协会美里分会主席陈超梅及秘书张旗何。 目前,马来西亚糖尿病协会美里分会仍在寻求政府拨地兴建会所,同时正在展开筹募会所资金。该会将继续举办活动,以筹募更多资金。
