砂拉越人民联合党主席拿督斯里沈桂贤医生强调，砂拉越必须要自强，取得经济独立。 他说，没有人能够阻止砂拉越人民，捍卫以砂拉越为先的斗争。他也希望党员们能重拾前辈们创党初期的初衷，继续为砂拉越而斗。 沈桂贤今日在砂人联党实打干支部挂招牌仪式致词时表示，人联党在马来西亚还没独立就已经成立，而能生存至今，都是因为党员们都在为砂拉越而斗。 他强调，人联党并非单一华基政党，党员除了有华人，也有达雅人、印度人等，是个多元种族政党。 他欣慰看到人联党在这方面已经作出改变，并希望党同志能通过民众和政治力量继续为社会和人民造福，实践带动捍卫权益的斗争使命。 他也促请砂拉越人民要提高警惕,因为希盟政府正企图通过各方式伎俩来分裂砂拉越各族群的团结。 “希盟已经启动了乡村社区管理委员会来分裂砂拉越，甚至利用社交媒体，还有大马多媒体委员会的伎俩来侵略砂拉越。”

砂人联党实打干支部于今日举行挂招牌仪式，由党主席拿督斯里沈桂贤主持。 出席领袖包括党中央秘书长拿督陈超耀律师及实打干支部主席沈坚石。 沈坚石致词时说，实打干支部希望能透过7C政策，来协助砂拉越人。所谓的7C政策，即是降低日益增加的生活费Cost of Living、罪案Crime、贪污Corruption、朋党裙带关系Cronyism & nepotism、欺骗案或网络诈骗案Con-job or the lies by the internet world、华语和英语教育以及承认独中统考文凭Chinese & English Education, recognition of UEC certificate和加强市议员的服务Council, always improve their services 。 他指出，由于许多年轻华裔都在三马拉汉和巴达旺一带购买住家，因此也导致选民从城市如浮罗岸、朋岭、巴都林当、石角等地区移到三马拉汉和巴达旺地区。 而过去的3年，他也发现到许多选民在更换住家地址后，并没更改投票的地址，以致选民比例出现不对的情况。 他称，若更换住家的选民也更换他们的投票选区，那么此举将增加实打干地区的非土著选民增加10%-15%。 在此情况下，他希望党中央能增加多一位三马拉汉市议会和巴达旺市议会的市议员。实达干支部将继续的传达砂政党联盟的惠民计划和政策予居民们。

陈超耀：新教育部长必须为我国教育注入新希望
砂拉越人民联合党中央秘书长拿督陈超耀律师表示，教育部长马智礼宣布辞去教育部长职位，并从2020年1月3日生效。他相信，马智礼过去担任教育部长20个月期间，受到人民的不满、强烈失望及压力，以致引起首相关注。 “或许，马智礼接获的辞职劝告，不止来自首相，也包括敦达因，在毫无选择情况下，他必须辞去教育部长职位。值得关注的是，马智礼的呈辞是立即生效。” 陈超耀发文告表示，很肯定的是，大多数家长对马智礼辞去教育部长的反应是自己终于可以松一口气。过去20个月期间，家长们都非常关心自己孩子在学校面对的一切，尤其是教育部长提出许多低于人民期望的政策，一些政策甚至是多此一举，无助于提升我国教育水平。他闹出话柄的政策，包括学生黑鞋政策，以及在华小落实爪夷文鉴赏课程。 “很多人认为，马智礼其实早就应该辞去教育部长职位，因为他证明自己无法胜任部长职位，更何况是攸关年轻一代前途的教育部长职位。他当初受委教育部长是个错误决定，很多人认为他不应该受委。 ” 他表示，人们也讨论教育部副部长张念群是否应该辞职，因为她一直以拉捍卫马智礼的政策及言论。在集体责任及共同承担责任原则下，她或许应该也跟随马智礼辞职。 砂拉越人民联合党相信，尽责的教育部长应该无分种族及宗教，照顾全体孩子的利益。我国教育系统必须是最佳及全面，以培养我国优秀的未来主人翁。尤其在迅速发展的时代，必须教导学生正确及有用的知识。 他希望下一任教育部长会对教育发展有正确观念及能力，不会把教育与政治扯在一起。新教育部长必须采取务实作风及政策，确保教育系统惠及全民。现有不适用的教育政策必须马上纠正，为我国教育发展注入新希望及方向。

陈超耀：人联律师团研究董总华团大会禁办事件
砂拉越人民联合党中央秘书长拿督陳超耀律师针对董总华团大会遭禁止举办事件表示，大马普遍华社及砂拉越人民联合党对董总被警方出示庭令，以可能影响和平为由，禁止举办华团大会的事件，感到万分震惊及极度失望。 他说，深感震惊及失望者，大多数是在第14届全国大选支持换政府的选民，他们感到失望的原因，是当时承诺的新政府、新希望、更自由的发言权力、联邦宪法赋予的集会权力及承认独中统考文凭等等，这些全都烟消云散。 陈超耀发文告表示，联邦宪法第10条文清楚阐明，保障所有马来西亚公民的言论自由（第10（1）（a）条文）、集会权力（第10（1）（b）条文）及组织权力（第10（1）（c）条文）。这3项阐明于联邦宪法的自由权力，是每个人基本的公民权力，在生活中实践自由与民主。 “基于上述联邦宪法赋予的自由权力，如今有个疑问是，警方申请庭令，禁止董总举办华团大会，以讨论将在明年落实的爪夷文鉴赏课程，此举究竟符不符合宪法？在砂拉越人民联合党的角度，我们认为这做法违背联邦宪法第10条文，是不符合宪法的。” 他说，警员加入警队时，宣誓捍卫联邦宪法，成为人民的守护者。但是，在这课题上，既然警方接获情报，得知董总华团大会可能引发冲突，警方就应该负起责任，避免相关冲突发生，比如阻止抗议董总组织靠近华团大会现场。若说这些组织也享有宪法赋予言论及集会权力，那么正确做法，应该分隔两个组织，在不同地方集会，远离彼此。如此一来，就不会产生冲突，影响各自的集会。总而言之，警方应该采取更适当的处理方式。 如今，警方却单方面向法庭申请禁令，完全没有提供董总选择的余地。难道，这是新政府的民主方式？ “砂拉越人民联合党坚持相信，联邦宪法是至高无上的法律，与1963年建国契约、科波特委员会报告、跨政府级别报告及1963年马来西亚法律（35章节）一样，联邦宪法第10条文保障每个大马公民享有言论自由、集会自由及组织自由。我们必须坚定立场，不能让宪法赋予的权力被侵蚀或剥夺。” 陈超耀表示，在目前局势下，砂拉越人民联合党认真关注吉隆坡局势及董总面对的挑战。鉴于此，砂拉越人民联合党律师团队会深入研究这个事件，他也已经与砂拉越华总会长拿督黄良杰联系，并会在近日内举行会议，讨论及找出最佳解决方案。 他强调，自1959年创党以来，砂拉越人民联合党非常关注华教课题。早前，党已经发出文告，严厉谴责在华小落实爪夷文鉴赏课程。如今，砂拉越人民联合党依然坚持立场，反对在华小落实这个课程。 “我们支持砂政党联盟州政府向联邦政府索取医药及教育自主权，砂政府有信心能更好地管理学校，推动教育发展。我们也想提醒砂拉越行动党，他们在第14届全国大选提出归还教育及医药自主权给砂拉越政府的承诺。”
