SUPP Public Complaint Bureau Press Release
SUPP Public Complaints Bureau Chief, Wilfred Yap was recently approached by Kapitan Lim Ted Chung for assistance based on a request to him for help from the caretaker of the Tanjung Datuk Kong Temple situate at Jalan Ithmus, Kuching. The caretaker had requested for help from Kapitan Lim as he had received information that the electricity and water supply to the Tanjung Datuk Kong Temple will soon be disconnected.
Immediately upon receiving the request for assistance from Kapitan Lim, SUPP Public Complaints Bureau Chief, Wilfred Yap went to the Tanjung Datuk Kong Temple to assess the situation. It was discovered that the Tanjung Datuk Kong Temple currently obtained its electricity and water supply free of charge from Kuching Barrage Management Sdn Bhd. However due to some pressure received (which was not revealed), an officer of Kuching Barrage Management had informed the caretaker of Tanjung Datuk Kong Temple that the electricity and water supply to the Tanjung Datuk Kong Temple will soon be terminated.
Under the above circumstances, SUPP Public Complaints Bureau humbly appealed to Kuching Barrage Management Sdn Bhd on behalf of Jawatankuasa Pengurusan Kuil Tanjung Datuk Kong not to disconnect the electricity and water supply to the Tanjung Datuk Kong Temple but to give time to SUPP Public Complaints Bureau to assist them in applying for direct water and electricity connection to the Temple.
SUPP Public Complaints Bureau Chief, Wilfred Yap appealed to Kuching Barrage Management Sdn Bhd for their understanding as a small matter of this nature can be emotionally blown out of proportion and become a political issue which is not good for all parties involved.
SUPP Public Complaints Bureau is always ready to lend a helping hand to the anyone facing problems or who come across problems of public interest but does not know how to deal with it. Anyone requiring assistance can always call SUPP Public Complaint’s mobile number at 016-7797688 or 082-246999 or go direct to SUPP Head Office to request for assistance.
