Donations for Miri Hospital
A total of RM14,180 was raised by 61 members of the Miri Chicken Run Hash House Harriers organisation.
The collection was then given to Miri Hospital which included pillows with PVC covers for durability, air conditioners, chairs, and tables, all aimed at enhancing the comfort of patients there.
Sarawak Deputy Minister for Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts, Datuk Sebastian Ting Chiew Yew with the donors handed over the donation on Tuesday expressed his thanks towards the Miri community who are always helpful in caring for one another including the hardworking hospital staff.
Aside from the donation, the group visited Ward 7 (Male Orthopaedic), new blood bank and Adult Daycare Centre to see the construction project donated by the Unit For Other Religions (UNIFOR).
Also present during the programme were the Director of Miri Hospital, Dr Jack Wong, along with Miri City Council Members and other guests.
