YB Lo Education Fair 2024

YB Lo Education Fair to be held on 10th August (Saturday) at Boulevard Shopping mall (South Atrium, Ground Floor Mall 2) at 12 noon.

Batu Kitang State Assemblyman, Dato IR Dato Lo Khere Chiang said all Form 5 and 6 will have an opportunity to provide a comprehensive platform for students and parents to explore diverse higher education opportunities.

In a press conference at the SUPP Batu Kitang branch, Lo said he is particularly proud to offer support to Form 5 and Form 6 students from the Salvation Army and Boys Home to be on hand to guide them through the complexities of applications and financial aid.

He said the 20 children will need financial aid which they will offer assistance as everyone will have the opportunity.

“The education fair is to inspire and recognize academic excellence and we will also be awarding small tokens of appreciation to high-achieving Form 5 and Form 6 students selected randomly from participating secondary schools. Beyond traditional full-time programs, we understand the needs of working adults, ” he added.

Lo said that’s why they are excited to feature institutions offering part-time courses. This provides a valuable opportunity for individuals to balance work and education, unlocking new career horizons.

He added that Education is undeniably the cornerstone of personal and societal progress as it holds the power to transform lives and shape destinies.

We firmly believe that this education fair will serve as a catalyst for countless success stories. Let us come together to invest in the future of our young people and empower lifelong learning for all.
