Borneo Mazu Cultural festival headed by Sih Hua Tong
A Borneo Mazu Cultural Festival will be held this month from April 27 to May 2 at Petanak Market Car Park Square.
In a press conference held today, Chief planning organiser, Sih Hua Tong said the event is organised by Tiong Hock Kiong Kong Teck Choon Ong Kuching and supported by Ministry of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts and Kuching City South.
Programmes included Riverine Procession to Muara Tebas Temple, Holy Tribute of Offering Incense, Cultural Performances, Ceremony on Deity Mazu, Charity Food Packs for Care Givers of Cancer Patients, Fund Raising of Medical Equipment X, Karaoke, Fireworks Display and praying session.
A working committee has been set up headed by Sih and Festival Event Chairman, Kho Kee Hua, Organising Chairman Aaron Ma Kher Chung, Secretary Wong Siong Lim, Treasurer Ngu Guan Seng and committee members.
