Datuk Sebastian Ting distributes food supplies to students of SMK Luak
Deputy Minister for Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts, Datuk Sebastian distributed 104 packs of 10kg white rice to the low-income families of SMK Luak.
At every festive period, such as the Lunar Chinese New Year, Hari Raya or Gawai, Ting would provide bags of rice to the family of needy students from the low-income group of the school.
In this year activity, Ting thanked the sponsors Lianxing Enterprise Co., Ltd. and Tongchengfa Rice Trading Co., Ltd. for sponsoring white rice to the students.
Ting, accompanied by Huang Chenghui, sales assistant manager of Tongcheng Huat Rice Trading Co., Ltd. and representatives of the sponsors Lianxing Enterprise Co., Ltd. and Tongcheng Huat Rice Trading Co., Ltd., symbolically handed over the rice to Heidi, the acting principal of SMK Luak, Miri.
