Sebastian Ting giving food to needy families

Sarawak Deputy Minister of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts, Datuk Sebastian Ting took advantage of the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri to distribute 89 supplies and green bags to needy families in Kampong Luwat.

Ting thanked NGOs for their efforts in the society and actively helping disadvantaged groups regardless of race or religious background by fulfilling corporate social responsibilities. He said this is a good example for the community and deserves encouragement and promotion.

There are caring and kind people in the society who are quietly stepping forward behind the scenes, said Ting.

“I feel very honored to be able to interact and communicate with you at this event. I hope that when the Hari Raya is here, I can also come here to meet you and celebrate the festival” , he added.

Ting himself sponsored green bags, dry food and masks, hand sanitizer and wet wipes safety packs respectively, while Lianxing Enterprise Co., Ltd. and Tong Shing Fat Rice Trading Co., Ltd. sponsored white rice, white sugar and flour.

This 2024 distribution of supplies and assorted porridge is jointly organized by Lianxing Enterprise Co., Ltd. and Tong Seng Huat Rice Trading Co., Ltd.
