Dr. Sim Kui Hian urges member of the public not to panic over Coronavirus
Local Government and Housing Minister Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian called to members of the public not to panic over the cornavirus as those in the Wuhan coronavirus high risk group are the frontliners.
He said the risky group are those aged 40 and above and those who have passed away are mostly in this group, he said while making his round of Chinese new year visit in Sibu.
Dr Sim added that there is no vaccine or treatment for the virus yet but the virus has not spread to Sarawak and it is important that Malaysia should prevent it from spreading here which is being done as there is a lot of screening at entry points.
He urged those who have returned from China to go for self quarantine for 14days. Dr. Sim said he believed that China will be able to control the disease soon as they are making a lot of effort.
