Road repairs at Jalan Sg. Tapang
SUPP Public Complaints Bureau Chief cum Kota Sentosa Branch Chairman, Wilfred Yap have been approached by residents of Lorong 4, Jalan Sungai Tapang for his assistance to request Padawan Municipal Council to carry out urgent repairs to the dilapidated condition of a section of the road
Following the request for assistance received, the matter was immediately communicated to Engineering Department of Padawan Municipal Council (MPP) and the repair works will be carried out immediately upon the availability of funds. SUPP PCB Chief, Wilfred Yap will continue to pursue, follow up and monitor the matter until the repair works are completed to the satisfaction of the affected residents.
SUPP Public Complaints Bureau Chief Wilfred Yap hopes that the Government would always place the needs of the people for improved infrastructure development as top priority. He also hopes that the PH Federal Government will put “people over politics” and increase allocation to the state constituency of Kota Sentosa as such allocations were urgently needed for the reconstruction and upgrading of old and dilapidated roads and drains. Kota Sentosa constituency (which also covers Stampin Resettlement Scheme) is a large area to develop and assessment rates paid by the residents to Kuching South City Council and Padawan Municipal Council is never enough to carry out the necessary development projects to better the lives of its residents.
SUPP Public Complaints Bureau Chief Wilfred Yap shall also continue to serve as the eyes and ears of the community living there to ensure that the infrastructure facilities in Kota Sentosa area are in good condition and maintained properly for the benefit of the community living there.
SUPP Public Complaints Bureau is always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone facing problems or who come across problems of public interest but does not know how to deal with it. Anyone requiring assistance can always call SUPP Public Complaint’s mobile number at 016-7797688 or 082-246999 or go direct to SUPP Head Office to request for assistance.
