Charity concert dinner for Sarawak HEAR
Minister of Local Government and Housing Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian announced that a charity concert dinner for Sarawak Hearing and Aural Rehabilitation Society (Sarawak HEAR) will be held next February 15 to raise fund for the hearing impaired.
He said the event will be held at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) with the theme ‘My Hearing, My Life, My Style’.
Dr Sim said he hoped that they can target the fund between RM200,000 and RM300,000 for the association’s activities and to assist the hearing impaired group and their families.
The dinner, he said will be a modest one and urged the public to contribute to give a helping hand. He added that between 1 and 5 children, out of 1,000 births can develop hearing problem.
