PH Sarawak shows true color, says Milton Foo
Putrajaya’s insistence on implementing its Village Community Management Council (MPKK) as reiterated by the Federal Works Minister YB Baru Bian and Deputy Minister of Domestic Trade & Consumer Affairs ,Chong Chieng Jen is showing their lack of courtesy and respect for Sarawak government, said SUPP Central Youth, Secretary general, Milton Foo.
The Prime Minister Tun Dr. Mahathir’s announcement in New York for the 74th Session of the United Nations General Assembly that the raise in oil royalty to Sarawak from 5 per cent to 20 per cent is not workable as he said the government now realised that the giving of 20 per cent would mean that Petronas would no longer become the international oil company that it was.The above two recent revelations not only exhibit the willful ignorance & deep unwillingness to fulfil its election manifesto on the part of the PH government but also show a blatant disrespect to Sarawak’s plea as an equal partner in the federation of Malaysia. This has been a timely reminder to us all as Sarawakians: to know who’s on our side & who’s not, he said.
Foo added that it exposed the incontrovertible fact that the current government of Malaysia is only Malaya-centric and is well prepared to equip themselves with all sorts of lame excuses to veto the needs of Sarawak rather than acceding to our requests. It is also proven that the Pakatan Harapan will not do anything good to Sarawak but to destroy us for their own prospering and enrichment at the expense of Sarawak.
Do we still need PH Sarawak to fight for us & Sarawak’s rights or interests? The answer is plain & obvious. It is time for the people of Sarawak to unveil the mask & make a prudent choice.? he asked.
