Dr Sim launched his manifesto
Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate for Stampin parliamentary seat Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian announced and launched his manifesto at the operation centre in MJC Batu Kawah here.
He said the plan is for five years, and that winning a parliamentary seat is equivalent to two engines, unlike the state seat which is only one engine.
By having more engines, Dr Sim said there will be more that can be done for the people in terms of development, allocation and others.
“We need to make sure we win. Then we can get back our rights in MA63 (Malaysia Agreement 1963) and take back part of Petronas,” he told a press conference today.
He added that this election is not just for Stampin, but for the whole of Sarawak.
“We’re the underdog because this (seat) was previously under DAP. We want to win so that the people in Stampin can see the difference (between) under us and DAP.”
Dr Sim’s manifesto includes affordable housing/education, boost economic activities, flood mitigation and drainage, community and traffic as well as roads.
