Teng: students should understand history of Malaysia
Political secretary to the chief minister, Teng Ung Woo recently celebrated Malaysia day and Children’s day with teachers and students of SJK Bulat, Sarikei.
He called on to the students to understand the history of Malaysia and how Malaysia was formed. He said it is important to understand the relevant dates in the formation of Malaysia and why we celebrate Malaysia day and Sarawak Day.
Earlier on, he had a dialogue session with the parent teachers association to work out their grievences.
