Dr Sim called for autonomy negotiation to continue
Senator Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian called for autonomy negotiation to continue as he believed t hat if autonomy negotiations were not successful, Sarawak cannot be guaranteed as Barisan Nasional fixed Deposit in the coming general electin.
Speaking at the second meeting of the fourth session of the 13th Parliament yesterday, Dr. Sim said after 53 years, Sarawakians is still “at best mistreated. At worse got short changed” . He said Sarawak is not asking to re-negotiate the Malaysian Agreement 63 but to implement was already agreed.
” We want our share on our income from Sarawak including oil and gas, infrastructure (not just Pan Borneo but high speed rail like KL-Singapore for Sabah and Sarawak) , Human resources (scholarship as well as senior position in Federal government service such as Ketua Setiausaha commonly known as KSU and Ketua Pengarah commonly known as DG for Sarawakians) .
