沈桂贤继续推进沟渠提升工程
砂副总理兼石角区议员拿督阿玛沈桂贤继续在石角选区推动提升沟渠排水系统工程,以加速排水和舒缓水患的发生。 从2016年拿督阿玛沈桂贤首次当选石角区议员至今,提升和改善选区内排水系统工程从未间断,这包括在石角思故邦各地区清理河道,确保河床不受障碍物堵住,更确保河床时刻处于宽和深水平。 此外,也在石角廉价房屋区进行住宅区前后沟渠的提升,将原有泥沟提升至钢骨水泥,如此以来,可改善排水系统和住家环境的清洁。 日前拿督阿玛沈桂贤见证砂水利灌溉局于石角德莎威拉新纳布迪巴鲁推行新的排水系统工程移交工程合约;并承诺提升选区内排水系统工程会持续进行,只是必须按照先后程序,不能一次性全部进行,因此民众需要了解。 砂政府批准了由沈桂贤提出提升石角德莎威拉新纳布迪巴鲁第17B1和17B2沟渠提升工程的申请,有关工程由砂水利灌溉局负责设计和公开招标,须提升的沟渠超过一公里长,斥资353万3553令吉,费时9个月,即明年2月24日完成;发展项目由M/S Akmal Enterprise负责进行。 “过去我们在整个德莎威拉地区推行和发展了许多沟渠提升工程,将数十年原有的泥沟提升成钢骨水泥,这不但可以避免沟渠坍塌,也有助于加速水源地排泄。” 拿督阿玛沈桂贤今日文告指出,解决水患问题不是兴建或改善沟渠就能解决,它涉及和牵连到的层面非常广泛,例如关系到整个地区的排水系统,因此处理水患问题,必须从整个地区全盘性着手。 他说,提升泥沟至钢骨水泥,是改善民众生活环境一部分,例如石角路廉价房屋前端的沟渠,经过提升,已成为覆盖式的钢骨水泥沟渠,加宽民众泊车空间。 “如果我们不提升和改善,民众就一直处在泥沟的生活环境,这类的发展对快速排泄水源有一定效果,但不是彻底解决水患问题的全部。” 他表示,在气候变化和周边地区快速发展冲击下,水利灌溉局已着手通过各项途径和管道改善排水问题。
俞小珊移交拨款
美里市长兼埔奕区州议员俞小珊今日在砂人联党埔奕支部服务中心主持埔奕选区乡区小型计划(MRP)拨款颁发仪式,共颁发总额达4万6000令吉的款项给16个社团、宗教和教育组织。这些拨款将用于支持各组织的日常运作和社区服务,进一步推动当地社会的发展。 俞小珊在仪式上表示,美里的愿景是发展成为一个绿色、智能、宜居的国际旅游城市。他强调,城市绿化对抗气候变化的重要性,并指出人类活动对地球造成了严重破坏,导致气候变化加剧。 俞小珊呼吁市民减少塑料使用,共同保护环境,称塑料污染对生态系统和人类健康带来巨大的潜在威胁。 “美里市要加强绿化工作,以减少对地球环境的破坏。希望每个人都能尽自己的努力,为环境保护贡献一份力量。” 他还提到,美里正朝智能城市方向发展。俞小珊介绍了市政局近年来推行的电子化措施,包括电子收据和电子化停车付款。他表示,尽管市民在初期可能不习惯,但长期来看,这些措施将大大提高生活便利性。 他补充道,智能城市的发展不可逆转,市政局将继续推进电子化服务,方便市民的日常生活。 此外,俞小珊还谈到砂拉越GPS政府已决定加深巴南河口,这将有助于降低美里进出口货物成本,并促进沿岸工业的发展,如造船业等。他指出,加深河口的工程已确定承包商,预计很快会批准施工。 “美里市政局积极拓展国际友好城市关系,迄今为止,已与菲律宾本格特省的拉特立尼达市、台湾花莲市、中国山东省威海市、印尼加里曼丹的山口洋等城市建立了友好关系。未来,美里计划与中国南宁、漳州及印尼巴厘巴板等城市建立友好关系。”
