维持党纪的重要性
砂人联党巴都林当支部主席薛华东表示，维持纪律对政党十分重要，就连在非政府组织及企业组织，亦是如此。他说，维持纪律是让组织保持团结及前进的重要因素，否则的话，团体内的人将无法统一步伐，或在共同理念下前进。 “若一个组织里没有纪律，那会是一个灾难。” 与此同时，砂人联党青年团总团长陈开亦认同纪律的重要性。他表示，纪律的存在，可确保政党顺利运作。 他说，当一个人加入组织，就必须跟随组织规定的条例，这是千古不变的道理；若一个人不愿跟随，这将引起诸多不满，对整个组织造成影响。惟他认为，纪律行动必须是最后一个采取的步骤，尤其是当没有任何选择的时候。 砂人联党诗巫支部主席拿督斯里黄顺舸日前证实他已经收到该党纪律委员会发出的“要求解释信”。刚从国外度假，返回诗巫的他说，本身会在适当的时候对此作出回应。
