SUPP Secretariat statement: 27 Jun 2015

In a brief statement issued today,  SUPP Secretariat  is affirming that  the SUPP new leadership is fully united in focusing on the upcoming state election.

In response to a published unsubstantiated reports that there is unhealthy development in the party’s recent plan for new appointment,  they reaffirmed that despite ROS approval,  no decision has yet been made by the party’s leadership to  implement the change for now.  For information, the decision to amend the Constitution of SUPP was decided on 22nd October 2011 by the Central Working Committee at its meeting and subsequently tabled at the Party Central Committee Meeting and Triennial Delegates Conference on the 9th December 2011 and 10th to 12th Dec 2011 respectively for approval and indeed resolutions were passed unanimously to amend the Party’s Constitution.

SUPP remains committed at being multiracial at the leadership level with YB Dato Sri  Richard Riot as Minister in the Federal government, and  Datuk Francis Harden in the state level.

The statement also went on to remind members on the need to be alert as there are people out there who do wish SUPP well and definitely out to mislead and confuse our members and perhaps members of the Public as well.

It stated that the SUPP new leadership is fully united in focusing its energy and time on the upcoming state election. The Secretariat said it did not wish to entertain to unscrupulous remarks from unhappy people and called all SUPP members to remain calm and united.
